Mike Scott! I thought of him and dismissed the thought before I recalled James Rodney. I should've known the easy answer would be wrong.

I saw a good question the other day:

JR Richards (1971) and Carl Spooner (1955) share the MLB record for most strikeouts in a game by a rookie with 15. Who was in uniform for the opponents in both games?

Hint: both games were against the Giants.

message 25: by Michael Linn (last edited Jan 01, 2019 07:23AM) (new)

Michael Linn | 11288 comments I would think it would be Willie Mays whose career with the Giants spanned at least those dates. Some one else if I`1m wrong ?
Mike Linn
Or was Mays either hurt or in the service ? And if I`m wrong, I`m guessing a coach

message 26: by Mike (new)

Mike (mike9) | 6454 comments Unless injured Mays would’ve been in uniform for both games.
