SOLVED. Historical romance - heroine runs away from London ton on a ship, hero owner/captain of that ship and also heir to a duke. [s]

I'm looking for this historical (maybe regency) romance. The heroine is tired/sick of the frivolity of the London Season and decides to run away. She lands in ship, I don't remember if she was disguised.

*spoiler ahead*
The hero is the captain of that ship, he is also the 1st son of a duke/earl, but does not tell the heroine that because he knows how much she despises the aristocracy. On their journey to America, they are attracted to each other, and they got married there. On their way back to England, something happened (storm, attack by some pirates...?) and both heroine and hero are shipwrecked on an island. They are at some point rescued by the ship crew. The heroine discovers the true identity of her husband once they reach England, when he was told that his father has passed away and that he's the new duke. And she's *really* not happy about that.


The hero has a sister, who's the heroine of the next book from this series - it was a 2-book series I think.

As far as I remember, the cover was pinkish/purplish, with a ship.

I read this book 10 years ago, but I don't when it was written.

Could it be “The Duke’s Daughter” on Wattpad? This was only published a couple of years ago but the plot is similar to what you’re describing.
