Kelly | 3 comments This was a children’s book series that was about a teacher who told a different story in each class and they had things in them like a penguin and a chair and sailboat or something that would be major parts of his story. They were small chapter books I think with pastel colors and there might have been a silhouette of the teacher on the front with the various icons.

When were they published?

Kelly | 3 comments I read them about 10 years ago so I’d say late to mid-2000’s!

Kelly, is each book about the teacher telling a single story?

Do the possible icons on the cover look like simple symbols (of what?) or web/computer buttons?

Can you describe the illustrations - realistic/cartoony/cute, simple/detailed, painted watercolors/bold graphics, sunny/dark/muted colors/black & white? Do they remind you of another illustrator or picture book author?

Kelly | 3 comments Yes, each story is about the teacher telling a different story. Almost like a choose your own adventure for the kids because they *might* be the ones who choose what will be important in the story. The icons are like silhouettes of the things that will the big parts of his story. I remember one of the books being a pastel blue with a different shade of blue for accents and one was yellow and one was pink, I believe. Each book was different shades of one color. Hope this helps!! :)

Kelly ~~
The more details you can remember, the better. You never know what minute detail triggers someone's memory.
Also ~~
You can "bump" your thread every month or so. This pushes your thread back to the top of the folder instead of languishing here on page 113 where fewer eyes will see it.
You can do this by typing a new comment at the end of the thread, or even by typing the word "bump."
Good luck!
