Hello there,

I'd like some feedback on a WIP so I can get a better sense of what works in my intro and what doesn't, which will help me going forwards. At the moment I only want to share the first part, which stands at ~18K words.

In return I'm prepared to read almost anything, though I have a preference for SF&F and I don't do erotica and horror. I'm also not the best critic for pure romance.

Super short and deliberately vague blurb:

14 year old Miko is delivering a message for his father when a fleet of beautifully strange ships appears on the horizon. Part 1 of the manuscript is about Miko trying to continue with his life despite the changes the fleet brings to his society.
