Harper Nicole (harpernicole) Thanks! I'm a little happy. Lol

Harper Nicole (harpernicole) It really depends on the chapter. This last chapter that I wrote took me two hours, but the chapter before took three days. So, it really depends. On average it takes me about two days of two hours of writing. Also, it depend on how long the chapters are, of course. Lol

Harper Nicole (harpernicole) Yep, you're creating your own way of writing. Every writer writes differently than every other. We're like fingerprints. Lol

Harper Nicole (harpernicole) Here's my predicament. I need to know a lot more about the FBI than I thought I did, so I can't do anything until I know more, and I can't find more, so what to do.

I would stick to nonfiction research. Here's something I learned from someone I know who is now retired FBI (met him when he still worked there). His last stint was in white collar crime. I joked that TV probably had it all wrong because there wouldn't be all that shooting, but he said that actually there is (even most FBI people don't know that.)

SO, even those tackling white collar crimes have to continually train with weapons. NO ONE can shoot well, etc, without continual training because you don't have time to stop and think about what to do once the guns come out. ALSO no one IRL shoots two guns at once.

In addition, his wife worked there, but not as an agent. I don't remember what she did, but she wasn't in administration.

Even though Sue Thomas F. B. Eye is based on a real story, it won't be realistic enough. "Based on real" doesn't mean real.

Check out the FBI website to see if they have information they give out as well.

Harper Nicole (harpernicole) MUCH better!

message 77: by Anna (new)

Anna I know how to do dimensions right!! When you have a gif opened on a seperate tab, right click and click inspect, then it'll give you the dimensions you need on the side thing. XD I don't know if that made sense!

It totally is, Shine! I saw it randomly and I started cracking up.

message 80: by Harper Nicole (new)

Harper Nicole (harpernicole) Thanos um, (view spoiler) so which one is speaking? Lol

I haven't started writing yet, but I'm doing NaNoWriMo, so I should start soon! I'm excited about that!

message 81: by Harper Nicole (new)

Harper Nicole (harpernicole) Well, good for you!! I usually write on my laptop, and I've ordered a new charger for it, but it won't come in until the seventeenth! So, I'll have to free hand it the first half of NaNoWriMo.

message 82: by Anna (new)

Anna I am trying to write my story--I keep telling myself to finish the story to the end instead of just the first part. For this, I am trying to use two characters that I have RPed with in order to have their characters already developed for me. So far...it's working. But I'm also only on page one. XD

message 83: by Harper Nicole (new)

Harper Nicole (harpernicole) Yay, Anna! Exciting!
