First, I am deeply concerned that someone called Lanea on this site has so crudely dismissed this book about a tremendously brave Frenchman. Second, I am reasonably up to speed on the courageous SOE F section agents in WWII, but did not not know about Michel Hollard until by chance I came across this fascinating book the other day. What an exceptionally dedicated, patriotic and brave individual he was. I am constantly reminded that a comparative handful of selfless and dedicated people in WWII changed history and in so doing, enabled us to enjoy the freedoms than most of us have today.
