I do like the "Alternative Reader's Choice Options."

I definitely think it's a good idea for some shelf names that might be too erotic, too dark, too violent or whatever for some readers. Or even for some shelves that don't really have a lot of books you haven't read if not in a re-read mood.

Good Debbie, that was our intention. There seems to be a fair amount of duplication on the shelves too.

I like the additional shelf options this round. The first 25 pages are typically filled with diligent little YA reader books that have been faithfully tagged... sooooo it takes patience to find and select a book... I like having more options.

I really love the fact that you have links to the bookshelves we can choose from in the shelf announcement. I just wish I knew now how to search for a book in that shelf other than paging down over and over and over...to see if one of my tbr is there.

Sandy, if you know the name of the book you want, just put it in the search box and all the books with that name will come up, select the one you want, hit edit and see if its on the shelf.

If you don't have a specific book in mind, its like any other shelf, you have to look but you can increase the number of books shown per page :)

I Agree with (D. A.) and Lis ... the alternative choices were lifesavers for me last round ... those 'user choices', the colors and favorites etc ... please keep the number down ... 2 ~ 4 is enough ...

Sorry I wasn't clear ... I was talking about the mix of genre and 'other' shelves ... i.e. ... mostly genre — not so many 'other' ...

and the triple alternatives were my lifesavers last round!
