I'm not going to have a big review of every book I read this year but I felt the need to say a little more about this one.
Lin's Gmorning and Gnight tweets are one of my favourite things in the world. Sometimes they are the brightest part of my day. This book beautifully curates some of his best and most touching tweets. Jonny Sun's illustrations greatly add to the beauty. This book is a wonderful antidote for a bad day or a depressive episode.
I also highly recommend following both Lin and Jonny on social media. They are excellent humans.

I'm counting individual comic issues towards my overall goal but won't be counting them towards any of my challenges (unless I get desperate to fill spaces lol)

I had a pretty big backlog of comics to get through... and I'm going to have a bunch more when I finally get downtown to pick up my pull list that's been accumulating since Christmas...

I accidentally binged the entire season this afternoon instead of doing literally any of the things I had planned to do. Really good story and the voice acting is fantastic!

I swear I read things that aren't comics lol. I picked up my pull list that's been accumulating since just before Christmas so I've got a big stack to get through. I also need to stop letting it build up so much so that I don't have an overwhelming pile sitting on my bedside table all the time.

Almost through the comics pile for now! I'm pretty sure I didn't ask for that Man-eaters comic and it was just thrown into my pile because the comics shop owner thought I might like it but I'm so glad they did. I laughed so hard. I'm now going to get the first three issues and am looking forward to reading more.

Through my comics pile. Now I can focus on getting through my bookshelves for a couple weeks.

Someone left this book behind at my last job and i brought it home but hadn't gotten around to reading it yet. I'm actually currently watching The X Files for the first time with a group of friends and this chronologically takes place after where I am in the series but other than a few lines here and there alluding to something that has yet to happen for me, it works as a story that could be anywhere in Mulder and Scully's timeline.

Orwell basically just lifted a good bit of We when he wrote 1984. There are parts of this that drag and bits that are super frustrating and there's some racist language (that I suppose we can write off as just being of the time but its weird seeing "large African lips" all over the pages.) but overall this is a pretty good book even beyond it's place in literary history.

It's kind of shocking that I had never read this before. It's cool to see where so many of the newer sci fi and robot books and movies got their ideas.

Well that was incredibly depressing... Really good but depressing and not really what I was expecting

This is an excellent collection of stories from refugees and asylum seekers about their journeys. This is definitely a book that everyone should read.

First of all... This came in the mail 2 weeks early. So I have, like, no one to discuss this book with yet and that's killing me.
Secondly... I meant to take my time and savour this one but I accidentally devoured it in one sitting. I loved it and this is exactly the Padme book I needed. I really hope we get more Padme and handmaidens stories in the near future.

5 Stars! :D"
I did too :D It was such a surprise, I didn't go in with any expectations.

I have so many conflicting emotions about this book.
I've taken so long to finally get to this book because I didn't want to deal with an Atticus that I didn't recognize. Also I was uncomfortable with the situation around this book being published.
I just... It's nice catching up with Scout but literally everyone else in this book can go hang. This Atticus sucks and every man in this book is a condescending dick.

Pretty decent mystery. I'm not as familiar with this detective as I am with Poirot or Marple but I quite liked it.

Some stories better than others but overall a really good read. I hope the rumours of another one of these anthologies for Empire's anniversary is true.

So good! I love this glimpse into young Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. I may also be over thinking every prophecy in this book and at least one of them seems to be super relevant to the upcoming The Rise of Skywalker.

Life has been crazy lately.. I've got about 3 months worth of comics to wade through... I'm about a third of the way through now.

I've been trying to but I haven't been too successful in keeping up with them lol.
