Where does this book fit?
monica gaither wrote: "I’m looking to read When Breath Becomes Air and Sing,Unburied, Sing. Does anyone have suggestions for what prompts they would fit in? Thanks!"Sing, Unburied, Sing is about a family. I also think it could work for the ghost story prompt, since ghosts figure prominently in the story. And you can also use it for the "favorite past prompt" because last year had a "recommended by another reader" prompt and I absolutely recommend this book to anyone. It's fantastic.
Christina wrote: "any ideas for I've Got My Eyes on You by Mary Higgins Clark ??"From the description, it sounds like it would fit the amateur detective prompt since the sister tries to find out what happened. Otherwise, maybe item of clothing on the cover or meant to read in 2018?

ehh, I might go with the clothing prompt... thank you!
Zeinab wrote: "hey where would you put The Luminaries? its based on zodiac signs but I don't think its reflected in the title - or is it maybe and I missed it?"The Good Reads description calls it a ghost story, so it could use that prompt? I haven't read it so I can't confirm.
Zeinab wrote: "hey where would you put The Luminaries? its based on zodiac signs but I don't think its reflected in the title - or is it maybe and I missed it?"We have a ghost story prompt. It might fit there.
Zeinab wrote: "hey where would you put The Luminaries? its based on zodiac signs but I don't think its reflected in the title - or is it maybe and I missed it?"Luminary - a natural light-giving body, especially the sun or moon
The title itself is an astrological term so you can definitely use for the "zodiac sign or astrological term in title".
Any ideas for Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine? Real world book club has set it for the month. Hope it is better than the last one they set.

Thanks. I already had debut and celebrity done. The other 2 I already have books on the shelf for. Was hoping it would fit one of the ones I don't have anything for but I couldn't see how either.
Edit: I stopped being lazy and looked through the challenge prompts....Think I figured it out😉I have a few Kindle unlimited books to finish up by the end of the month. Any ideas on where they could go??
Verity by Colleen Hoover( ATY -Psychological thriller)
Beneath a Scarlet Sky(PS- Based on a true story)
The Woman on the Orient Express(ATY- a journey)
The Selection(ATY- Spec. Fiction)
The Day the World Came to Town: 9/11 in Gander, Newfoundland(???? wanted to read it last year when I heard about it so PS #9, or maybe it would be a good movie? IDK)
The Song of Achilles( Mythology, duh... PS # 12, or book riot or both)
The Turner House (PS- about a family)
and
Hello, Universe( PS- takes place in a day)
I'm sure I won't get to them all, but I don't want to read them if I can't fit them into one of my ( too many ) challenges.
The fact that I found places for them all doesn't help me prioritize what to read here LOL
Monkiecat wrote: "I read The Day the World Came to Town: 9/11 in Gander, Newfoundland last month and really enjoyed it... but I wasn't able to place it anywhere on PS :D"Does it all take place on one day? The title kinda sounds like it would
Simone wrote: "Tracy: Beneath a Scarlet Sky fits in the 500+ pages ATY."Oh shit LOL.... I haven't even looked at page counts. Hopefully it reads quick and keeps my attention. Thanks for the heads up :-)
Sarah wrote: "Monkiecat wrote: "I read The Day the World Came to Town: 9/11 in Gander, Newfoundland last month and really enjoyed it... but I wasn't able to place it anywhere on PS :D"Does it all take place over one day?..."
It looks like its 4 days total :/
Carolyn wrote: "I finally got Less from my library waiting list. I know that I can use it for "a book that I mean to read in 2018", but any other categories?"@Carolyn
Less also fills the Advanced #ownvoices prompt.
Aly wrote: "I spontaneously started reading Pandemic. Can y'all think of any prompts it might fit? Thanks!"The only prompts I could think of are the more general ones, e.g., should be turned into a movie.
Another option would be to read another book with the same title and check off the advanced prompt with 2 books with the same title.

It would make a pretty killer movie tbh.
I've also considered the "same title" prompt, there is another book called Pandemic that looks really good. Thanks!
Jessica wrote: "Hello! Does anyone know where I might be able to fit The Shipping News?"I have it on my list for prompt #14, a book being read in a tv show or movie - I can't remember why, though. But I definitely put it there for a reason!
Bhavna wrote: "Any suggestions for Pavilion of Women by Pearl S Buck? Thanks"
I think it's fair to count Pearl Buck as an author from Asia.
Other possibilities: clothing/accessory on cover (at least, the cover I'm looking at features a woman seen from the back, holding parasol), and it looks like it might be about a family.

Where could I fit in The Magic Misfits ?I love to listen to Neil Patrick Harris voice, so I started this audiobook.
Christina wrote: "any idea what to do with The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde ??"I'd say you could use it for "A book that has inspired a common phrase or idiom" since many people know what is meant when you call someone "Jekyll/Hyde".

oh that is an amazing idea!! thank you so much!
Amy S. Griffith wrote: "Where might Educated: A Memoir by Tara Westover fit?"#4 - liked to see turned into a movie
#17 - college or university campus (depending on how strict you are - only some of it is set there)
#28 - recommended by celebrity you admire - Nicholas Sparks, if you admire him (you might find others)
#31 - book about a family (this is the one I would personally use)

Barack Obama recommended it also.
Something in the Water would make a decent movie, it's a debut novel, it's sort of an amateur detective (I mean, she's sort of trying to solve the mystery of where the bag came from and who, if anyone, is following her), and I'm pretty sure it's set in fall if you want to wait until then to read it. Parts of it might be in winter, actually, so maybe if you read it right now it's set in this season? I didn't like it so I don't remember much about it!
Any suggestions on Doctor SleepWould it be considered a ghost story? Does Dan Torres have what would be considered a super power?
Any ideas for The Spite Game ? I've read it, but can't see a category for it, but perhaps someone else has an idea. (and no, not a book revolving around a puzzle or a game, IMO).I read Snow White Must Die, which doesn't fit in "Inspired by myth/legend" category (which is what I read it for), however it does fit for advanced prompt "A book with no chapters/unusal chapter headings/unconventionally numbered chapters". It just has dates, not chapters. It's also set in winter so would work for #44 too, depending on when you read it.
I've filled a lot of prompts already but want to read Artemis Fowl. Where might I be able to put it?
Amanda Beauchesne wrote: "I've filled a lot of prompts already but want to read Artemis Fowl. Where might I be able to put it?"A book becoming a movie in 2019.
A book featuring an imaginary creature.
A book with a two-word title.
Can anyone think of a prompt that might work for Fragile Things: Short Fictions and Wonders by Neil Gaiman or Every Man in This Village is a Liar: An Education in War by Megan Stack?
Any ideas for Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine? It is the school book club read this month but I keep postponing reading it because I can't think of a prompt it will fit that I haven't already covered. It is only a week till we meet again so best get on with it.....I have done prompts 2,4,9, 10, 11, 16, 18, 19, 21, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 33, 34, 35, 36, 39, 40 (for all previous years), and 49.

I had to do that with a couple on my list.
Or be a little soft on challenge #1 as it will be a movie...just not in 2019?
Michelle wrote: "Jen wrote: "Any ideas for Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine? It is the school book club read this month but I keep postponing reading it because I can't think of a prompt it will ..."Might find a spot for it in ATY
Stephanie wrote: "Hi! Where would Persuasion by Jane Austen and Age of innocence by Edith Wharton fit?"Persuasion would fit the prompt - a book published posthumously.

Oh boy, you're right! I took the dust jacket off, so it would stay nice and totally forgot about the trees. Thanks!
