Does anyone have an opinion about this book yet? Has anyone I started reading? I have not yet started.
I plan to start it soon. I'm going to try to read two books at once. 😨 I have 18 print ARCs to review and I don't want to know how many on my kindle. I keep getting books in the snail mail. 😭 They have to stop.I wish kindle ARCs had text to speech. I would take advantage of it at this point.

I have no idea. It's really weird because they're all books I would have chosen. Some I had entered to win on here but didn't. ...Strange as I answered your question I figured THAT might be how. Publishers have given my email address to authors too. I don't like them sharing my email address without asking me but they've done it.That has to be it. I entered, didn't win but because I've reviewed so many for penguin and HarperCollins they sent me one.
A lot won't be released until summer. Those I'm not going to worry about until I get others read.
I wonder if they have problems finding people to review historical fiction. You think that might be it? Those and women's fiction that are family drama. Thank God none have been romances.

I read the based on a true story historical fiction or historical non-fiction. I LOVE history and geek out on time periods - like Henry XIII. I'm currently obsessed with WWII - they are releasing a lot of books about the first spies who were women.
I have a print ARC of this one I can't wait to get to. They're the women who made it possible for me to do what I did in the Navy.
Oh I need to start it. It sounds so good and the reviews are amazing. Stephen King loved it so it must be good.
I was surprised how obsessed I got with this book, I love how the author developed the story and his writing was beautiful. The connections it made to The Exorcist was interesting. My favorite part of the novel was just every interaction between the main character and her sister. I loved how sinister their relationship could turn very quickly and how the author showed a tainted childhood innocence.
