It's simple. You nominate a book and second the books you want to read. The most seconded books are selected via polls, thus giving us the book/s of the month/year. Buddy Reading involves reading the book in the specified month and sharing your thoughts chapter-wise as you go through it. You can also share your thoughts before and after the book.
When?
The Buddy Reads last for a month. Though the members can comment any time they want.
Semi-Annual Buddy Reads last for a period of six months each. The members can comment anytime they want.
How?
Each Book will be divided into roughly equal parts to be read. There's no limit on how many chapters must be read within a week. Spoiler free discussion threads are available for the members you haven't started the book yet and threads for reviews are available for those who have finished it.
