Yeah this one sounded great in my head, but in practice I'm finding that to be my challenge as well. lol

Any ideas for this one? I'm pretty stumped. My only thought would be either told from a male perspective or told from an animal or other nonhuman's perspective, since I'm a human woman? Not sure how the opinion would come into it.

I was thinking along the lines of a protagonist or lead that might have different societal standards, like Light Yagami killing criminals (death penalty) in Death Note or Iron Man/Captain America's superhero registration stances (government regulation). Try writing down some of your opinions on some of these issues:
Death Penalty
Government Oversight
Censorship
Civil Disobedience
Free Speech
Freedoms
Diplomacy
Dietary Standards/Practices

Now that you mention it, I guess any dystopia would work here. Because nobody wants those, right? This is the main reason why I'm sometimes into a good dystopian universe - it's something essentially different from the real world. And broken. Also communism. That works too because you get everything: censorship, no freedoms, no democracy, decrees all over the place.
I think I'm gonna take the easy way out and read Crossed, Vol. 1, since I don't think its very good to kill and eat people and all that :P
I think I stumbled over something that fits this prompt. Megahex is the story of drug addicts... doing... drugs in mostly everyday settings. Basically that's it. It's praised by many who found it hilarious, but I found it to be awful - personal opinion, so feel free to ignore it.Of course, it only works for this prompt if you are against drugs :)
