I read Aeon Flux for this prompt. It mentions a mental scape called the Handler Space. I don't feel like it's used to its full potential, only as a means of communication between the rebels.

I read Tokyo Ghost, Vol. 1: Atomic Garden a while back. It has implants that puts the internet into a character's brain - the main character effectively turns into a zombie. The story wasn't good enough for me, though.
