True. I expect more of some companies, though, knowing they have the money but choose not to put a good amount into cgi. Because horrible cgi in movies that can afford better is just ridiculous and I can't stand it
I know exactly what you mean, it's horrifying. Don't even get me started about the SyFy channel movies, I think it's intentional though.

I don't know why I keep going to this particular friend's house for get-togethers with our highschool friends... every time, her mom acts like I'm a failure and she needs to fix me. like what the heck is wrong with wanting to spend the rest of my life making coffee for a living?? why the heck does she think that's not a good enough job? just cuz all of our friends want to be doctors of some sort doesn't mean I have to as well. coffee is my passion, not saving lives or helping people walk again.

They use a lot of green screen stuff and it's definitely noticeable. A lot of their scenes are filmed on it so yeah. But the show is over. I just expected more from ABC. And yeah, I should have expected it. Happens every year /:

Uh, that I actually do not know... I would imagine, unless there just weren't enough viewers anymore or something. If anyone notices besides me, they don't speak up, that's for sure. Although, my other friends who I try to just recount everything to without implying how I took it seem to agree with me. However, they don't know her or her mom so they aren't there when her mom is like that to say it's uncalled for
I got to see my boyfriend today. It was a really good and sweet time with him. I just didn't get to be in his arms nearly as much as I wanted to because I had a friend there as well and didn't want her to feel like a third wheel. but we went to the Last Bookstore in LA which was only my second time going to that bookstore. it was awesome. my boyfriend bought me a shirt and I bought myself stickers because that was literally all I could afford since I don't get paid until the 25th. all in all, today was a very lovely day ^•^

I've been so sick and it's been raining every day since Saturday. I can't even enjoy it. on the plus side, I'm starting to feel better. I hardly ever get sick so this is rare and I hate it. being sick really sucks.

so, happy update. I had to work over the weekend. I'm feeling much better so I was happy to be in the coffee shop at the camp that I love so much. my boyfriend made it up and he volunteered for the winter camp retreat that was happening. but that meant I got to see him. we even talked about his relationship and oh my gosh, he was so understanding and open to hearing it. he assured me everything was fine and he had even been thinking about his relationship with her before I said anything. so yeah, he didn't get upset and it was just all super good. I feel better now that everything is out in the open and such.

I had the flu. I don't recommend it. very horrible horrible thing. the worst of it lasted two days. and then I got my mom sick, too. I felt bad but at the same time, I was glad I wasn't the only one who suffered. horrible, I know. but hey, my boyfriend finally bought me flowers for the first time. roses. I'm happy but... I'm pretty sure I've told him to never buy me roses. I like lilies so much better. I'm still grateful, considering he thinks flowers are a waste of money.
I still have this horrible cough, though. it's getting better. also, I have a driving test coming up. I can't wait and I hope I pass. I need to be able to drive, honestly. But yeah, I think that's all the new stuff...
@Trey, it's such a good show! You really ought to watch it! Definitely one of my favorites and the comics the show is based And I'd get a fish but I'd probably forget about it and it would likely die and I'd feel bad. And then I'd have to flush it or something so it's probably best if I don't...
I watched the Umbrella Academy all in one day. it was actually pretty good. props to Gerard Way on that. I expected it to be worse but I can't wait for season two and it makes me wanna see what the comics are like. not a big comic book fan but... I'm willing to give it a try.
oh, I also started watching the Office. it's alright. I pretty much only watch to see the stuff with Jim and Pam as well as the stuff between Jim and Dwight. otherwise, I have no interest. Michael annoys me to no end. I'd like to slap him. but when Jim and Pam are cute, it's worth it
FIRST, I had a flu I've had to stay in for 2 days and let me tell you, everytime you get sick, you always value health and wish everything could go back to normal. It sucks being sick and I agree with you but I'm glad its over for you! And don't worry I'll watch it for sure and yeah.......don't get a fish. Haha. Anyways, my bros and sis are obsessed with Umbrella Academy and so far all I can say is that the soundtrack is amazing. I haven't watched the show, saw segments and it looked quite interesting so we'll see! Plus I'm pretty sure the purpose of the Office is to have Michael annoy the audience, he is to make you cringe and look away which is why its so enjoyable because it works. Anyways, I agree though, Pam and Jim's relationship is adorable!

@trey, that is so so true. when I was at my worst, all I wished for was to be well again. I had a back issue not that long ago that lasted months. all I wanted was to be able to move without getting a spasm! I'm good now but let me tell you, I've never valued the ability to move easily and well as much as I do now! Definitely watch the Umbrella Academy! Number 5 was my favorite xD I just loved him haha
And I know about the Office but like... dang. I could do without Michael haha but I just got to season four and Jim and Pam are finally dating xD

So my driving test is tomorrow and I can't sleep. so happy about that right now. really. I was hoping to be well rested but.... ugh. and I even got up early today. that should have made it easy to sleep tonight. nope. but I'm ready for this test. can't wait to be licensed driver! it's taken way too long for me to get to the point of doing everything it takes to get this license, honestly.
I don't care what anyone says. thunderstorms are the absolute best. the quick flash of lightning followed by that loud rumble of thunder... gets me every time. and then there's the pitter patter of the rain just outside your window. something about it gets me so hyped up but also feeling so calm all at the same time. I love it. so. freaking. much.
the desert definitely needs way more thunderstorms. I'd even be happy if it was just the lightning and thunder, no rain. of course, the rain is plenty awesome for us water deprived folks. now, snow, I can do without that. it's cool every now and then but too cold. I hate the cold
oh, and exciting news. I passed my driving test!! so ya know, if you happen to live near me, look out. I'll be out there driving. I'm getting a car too, free from the friend that taught me to drive. it's literally as old as I am. which means it's sturdy and well, I'm safe in a wreck. now, the other guy? he might not be so lucky...
okay but like, I've been seeing a lot of Harry Potter stuff lately on insta... I love seeing all the Hufflepuff stuff. I'm very proud to be Hufflepuff but it seems like Hufflepuff is the one house few people are proud to be in. like everyone is all excited for the other three, even Slytherin! and then they look down on Hufflepuffs. how lame is that?? like heck yeah, I wanna be known for being kind and loyal, especially in a world that is all about looking out for yourself and what you want. no, I'd rather be in the house that cares more about everyone else than themselves. to me, that's the best thing.
I am so full right now, it's not even funny. I love Olive Garden but dang, I get so stuffed every time I go. if only all the restaurants would offer endless food for as long as you're dining there... life would be pretty grand.
