I read this book last year, I think. All I remember is that the H is a wolf shifter and he finally meets his mate, only she's a vampire and shifters are very wary of vampires because of their powers.

Sorry it's not this one. In the book the H was the alpha of the pack there's a beta too who also discovers is mate at some point in the book, altough there's some problems and their story probably appears in the second book of the series
