Dawn T (dawn_t) | 34 comments Am starting to wonder if I should have set my targets higher as I have read 16 books this month and will finish the 17th tonight or tomorrow. I have been ill this month so have had no energy to do anything but read and have also listened to five audiobooks at work. Next week I have a job change so this won’t be allowed. I have read a mixture of books - classics, sci-fi, family saga and fantasy - library ebooks, audiobooks and kindle as well as actual library books and books already owned.

Dawn T (dawn_t) | 34 comments I am on a Terry Pratchett binge at the moment. Three read in the last week, one to start tomorrow and one to collect from the library.

Still working my way through the Discworld series, mainly from my son's shelves, but one or two from the library as well. Still listening to audio books, but I do lose concentration. Up to date with Bleak House and also reading Anthem by Ayn Rand and listening to Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood.

Dawn T (dawn_t) | 34 comments Eight weeks into retirement but still seem to be reading at the same rate as when I was working as I am doing quite a lot of sewing.

Up to date with Bleak House and planning to join in with Jane Austen July. I will start the Sense and Sensibility readalong on Monday. Am also keeping up with the Penguin classics challenge. July’s book is Wuthering Heights. My retirement ambition is to read War And Peace which I have on kindle and audible.
