Qualifies: Precis - Jamie Connors has given up on finding a man. Despite being smart, pretty, and just slightly overweight, she's a magnet for the kind of guys that don't stay around.
Her sister's wedding is at the foreground of the family's attention. Jamie would be find with it if her sister wasn't pressuring her to lose weight so she'll fit in the maid of honor dress, her mother would get off her case and her ex-boyfriend wasn't about to become her brother-in-law.
Determined to step out on her own, she accepts a PA position from billionaire Alex Reid. The job includes an apartment on his property and gets her out of living in her parent's basement.

Am I reading this correctly, once we have read at least 8 books and everyone has read at least one we don't earn anymore bonus roses.So it doesn't help to keep reading books that fit?

Yes. That's my understanding. Here are the ways roses are earned:
🌹 The first rose per team is earned for reading 4 books fitting the task during the date.
Bonus roses may be earned by:
🌹 The team that finishes 4 books and posts in the Q&A/Announcement thread first wins a bonus rose. Note, posting is required to earn this rose.
🌹 Teams with each member completing the task (with a minimum of 6 books read) earn an additional rose.
🌹 Teams finishing 8+ books during the date win an additional rose.
Remember, players are allowed to read multiple books for a given date in order to earn bonuses and/or to make up for teammates who do not read their book or who have been eliminated.
We qualified for 3 out of the 4 roses.

For me is not to my advantage either. Also, I think it's a little unfair that we Germans would have until Saturday 6 AM to post our last book read for the week, but others have till Friday midnight. All in all, I find we are at a disadvantage, but I also understand that there's no way around the time zone problem.
I don't live in the official time zone either but I don't think it matters. Since everyone has different daily plans.

It has to be on the main book page, not the first page of shelves. This is what I am seeing on the main page:

How do you read so fast?"When a book doesn't grab you it can take forever to read! You can read a different book, you aren't obligated to stick with it if you don't want to.

I finally managed to finish the book I had chosen for this task. I'm so sorry it took so long. It was really hard work, I couldn't get into the story until the second half of the book....Date Task: Date 2: A is for Another

Good job Jessica. I actually liked the first several Anita Blake books. It got crazy around book 8 and up

But this time around I found it really hard to get into the series.
