Hi!
The heroine is on the run from her abusive ex husband. She lands up at her estranged sisters house. Where she meets her brother in law (or her sisters husband friend) who is a doctor. The heroine is very ill because she has been living in her car. Her sister does not want her in her house.
She stays with doctor who has an orphaned boy/son from an African country. The son/boy only speaks french. The heroine is fluent in french and helps him out.

While she recovers she thinks her ex husband found her. She does not tell her sister or the doctor.
I have no idea how it ends.

Desperately need help its driving me INSANE.

I read it a couple of months ago. Its contemporary romance. I don`t remember the cover.
