Goonan had a story, “A Love Supreme”, in Year's Best SF 18, which I read this year. A strong story as I recall, and of course the title is another musical reference. She died in 2021.

I recently picked up CCR and Light Music and I'm ready to go with that series when we want to try her out.

I have some of these, but I would prefer to start with book 1
