Donna I'll play! January is shaping up to be a difficult choice!

January: An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green

February: I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga
February was a tough month, without any great stand outs.

March: The Shape of Water by Guillermo del Toro

April: The Miniaturist or was it Lola? I can't decide!

May: Crooked Street Crooked Street, by Brian Freeman

I'm also re-reading the Harry Potter series this year, so I have to say they would get the top rating from me for every month!

June: Gods of Howl Mountain, by Taylor Brown

July: Recursion, by Blake Crouch

August: Best Fiction: The Lost Man, and Best Nonfiction: The Feather Thief

September: The Roanoke Girls, by Amy Engel

October: Washington Black, by Esi Edugyan

November: The Heart's Invisible Furies, by John Boyne

December: Nonfiction -- Humans of New York: Stories and Fiction -- Waiting for Eden. Waiting for Eden was a spur of the moment choice and it had not been rated particularly high by other readers, but I felt it was masterful! It was a surprise to me.
