Personality: Mostly sociable, but finds it hard to empathize with others. She generally likes to talk about anything and everything- magic being her specialty. She can be pretty manipulative and sometimes unkind or harsh, but her intentions are good enough. She's pretty elegant and doesn't generally trip over herself, and it very adept at learning new skills. She very easily holds grudges, so it's best not to annoy her. Generally, she likes fighting, but only if the outcome benefits her. She's the chaotic good, and would easily go to war for what she believes in.

Fatal Flaw: Her fatal flaw is the general 'always holds grudges'.

History: She lived in New York City her whole life, which generally attributes for her heavily unforgiving personality. She lived with her dad until he was killed by a Hydra when she was fourteen, after which she was sent to Camp by her local satyr. She made it to camp (mostly) in one piece, since a monster attacked her, and after a really good swipe, rendered her left hand useless. She's since used enchantments to make it co-operate, but only when she needs it to.

Raevyn has dark brown - though some people think it's black; hair. She has stunning blue eyes, which stand out even more because of the eyeliner she uses. Rae is about average height; standing at about 5'0" inches tall.
Raevyn always wears these articles of clothing: a black leather jacket to hold her throwing knives, a weapons belt with her stygian iron dagger, and black converse or black boots.
She usually wears solid color tanktops or t shirts, and skinny jeans. Ironically, instead of what you might expect, dark colored socks, Raevyn actually wears rainbow-colored socks, but are usually concealed within her boots, but if she's wearing converse, then you'll see the only colorful thing she's wearing.

{Personality} Anti-social, loner, and hostile? Yup, that pretty much sums up Raevyn. Or does it? There's more to her than you may think. Raevyn hates the human race(and demigod race I guess? o-o They're still human..but half god..)including herself. Humans have done nothing but harm the earth and other people, and she hates it all. You may say she's being pessimistic and looking on the downside of everything, but she says it's fact. Humans destroys. It's what they're best at. Okay, she may be a bit pessimistic...
Raevyn hates people, bright colors, and perky personalities. She absolutely despises being judged, and is misunderstood. A lot. Though Raevyn is cold, unfriendly, and is always in the shadows, she is a fairly nice person..once you get to know her.

{Fatal Flaw} Hostility toward others(not being able to work in a group basically)

{History} Raevyn was born in Michigan, and didn't find out she was a demigod until she was fourteen years of age. She had an abusive, bipolar, drunk all the time, unstable mother who never really raised her. Mrs.Hawthorne was always at bars or casinos and didn't come home until morning, where she would lock the door of her room for hours. Since Rae's mother is bipolar, sometimes she'd be abusive and horrible, and other times, she would apologize and apologize for everything. It was tiring and annoying, with all of the moodswings..the instability. At school, Raevyn never had any friends, or anything. She was alone. One day, when Raevyn was fourteen, she felt like she couldn't take it any longer, so she ran away. Simple as that. She didn't look back, and she didn't regret it. Or so she says.
She ran far away, went wherever the wind took her, did what she could to survive. Yes, she stole. She sneaked into houses at night, or when the owners were away, and took a small quantity of food(so nobody would notice)and slip away into the night, never being caught. Though she's been close to being caught. But with her stealth and caution, she was fine. Police never did go after her, since her mother never reported a missing child. Raevyn, to this very day, has no idea what happened to her mother. Was she dead? Alive? Still a drug addict? She would never know. She didn't want to know.
Eventually, a satyr found Raevyn after she was attacked by a hydra blablabla and took her to Camp Half Blood, where everything was explained. The strange things she could do with earth, the ability to see the life aura of someone(and see if they're close to death or not.)etc etc etc. Raevyn has been training there ever since.

{Personality} Everleigh is a friendly, hardworking person. She's always spinning and bouncing, and is also very hyper. She's a bit insane sometimes, and doesn't have many friends. Everleigh has a short attention span, and talks a mile a minute. She enjoys nature and animals. She loves grapes, being a Daughter of Dionysus, and often acts drunk/plain crazy, even though she doesn't drink. Everleigh can be that "happy", bubbly girl who's always smiling, but then in a split second can turn into her true self; the sad, broken, girl who nobody pays much attention to. Sometimes, she's as sane as any person, but in a split second can be that mad, weird girl. {History} Everleigh's mother loved parties. A lot. She always went to wild parties every night. But she was careful; or at least tried to be. And yes, she was young. Only nineteen years of age. But, sometimes people have a little too much to drink at parties. And sometimes they have a one nightstand with strangers and make babies. Then find out they're pregnant. And regret it. Since Eva's mother was only nineteen; aka very young, she considered having an abortion, but then decided against it. After Dionysus; the mysterious stranger, came to visit her and told her about himself, and persuaded the young woman to give the girl up to adoption. And she did just that. Everleigh went to an orphanage after born, and lived there until she was eight. Then she left the orphanage and was thrown into the foster care system, because the orphanage had too many kids and was running out of room. Everleigh foster family weren't too mean to Eva, but did pretty much ignore her 24/7. At school, Everleigh was bullied and taunted for many things, and she soon became insecure, and depressed. She got a little mad too, always talking nonsense and seeing things and talking to voices in her head, had multiple personalities, etc. Sometimes she was sane; and sometimes not. Then, at age fourteen, she went to Camp Half Blood.

Appearance:

Personality: Myles is a strong, somewhat childish character. He’s fun, loving, and happy most of the time. Myles was generally a very serious person. Growing up, he didn’t laugh a lot, he didn’t like to speak to people, and he wasn’t one to have fun with others. He mostly kept to himself, which was useful, because he was always a kleptomaniac. Myles is smart, but not book smart. He’s good at cracking riddles and codes, and the only board game he bothers playing is Sudoku, because he feels like the faster he solves one, the quicker and more efficient he could get at thieving. When Myles gets nervous, he stutters. Usually, it’s around people *cough*girls*cough* that he likes. He ends up falling for girls that he likes really hard.

Fatal Flaw: Caution. He’s always double checking everything, even if he’s not OCD or anything. He has to be sure he doesn’t leave evidence if he happens to steal.

History: Myles grew up in a small, but powerful family. His mother was a famous environmentalist, who taught Myles to treat the environment with care. So he did, and still does. He never talked to anyone except his mom and his brother. He always sat at the back of the class, never really paying attention, and while the teacher would speak, he’d read from a textbook, being the smarter of the two. When he was at home, he was in heaven. His mother was wealthy, allowing him to grow up in a good home. He enjoyed weekends and summers with his small family. Then, things went downhill. During Christmas, that when he was 12, he had just been opening his present from his mom, when the doorbell rang. His mom thought it was a present from their grandparents. Of course, growing up with only his mother, he knew it would be his mom’s parents. The mailman was behind the door, and he morphed into the manticore. The manticore killed their mother with its spikes, so it was an instant death.

Myles had been hysterical. He was furious at this thing, ruining his Christmas like that. He jumped onto the manticore, grabbed his mother’s favourite vase [which happened to be made of a thick crystal] and whacked the manticore on the head. The manticore fell unconscious, and the glass hit Myles in the arms and legs. He ran as fast as he could to the safe, grabbed his backpack, and stuffed all the paper money he could, and a spare pair of pants, just in case. He zipped the pack up, and ran from his home, not before taking his mom’s ID card and credit card.

He spent a month on the streets, not daring to open his backpack. He only used the money for food and water. Only that. Eventually, he met a satyr. He didn’t trust it at first, and was extremely wary about the whole ‘Half-Blood’ business, but he tagged along, decided he wasn’t completely crazy. He tried not to speak a lot, but his satyr was extremely talkative, so he tried to keep his answers short and simple. They faced a few monsters on the way, but since he lived in Manhattan, the trip was short, and they made it generally unharmed.

Strength and Weakness: His biggest strength would be secrecy. He’s able to keep secrets extremely well, considering the fact that he’s stolen so many small items, that he’d end up washing dishes for months. His largest weakness is, well, bullies, as pathetic as it sounds. This reflects on his history. Another minor weakness is girls. If he gets to know a really nice, fun one, he falls – hard.

Likes and Dislikes: He likes: Friends, Stealing, Money, anything with sugar, and gambling. He dislikes: are jerks in general, meat [being a vegetarian], smart-alecks people, and rules.

He is a bit on the cocky side, and knows his talents. He doesn't like being outdone at something, and this can easily turn him from the nicest demon out there to a downright snarky bitch.
He doesn't scream when he's angry, instead he talks in a very calm and collected voice that gives you chills. It's often described as far worse than being yelled at. He's a bit of a ladies man, and likes hanging out with the more intelligent people.

Personality: Amber is a normal demigod. As normal as one can be. She's peaceful, and hates violence. She's an animal lover, and gentle. She always loved taking care of plants and the earth. Some say, she's ditzy, even. ((idk how else to describe her. she's sorta like Calypso in the titan's curse)) She stands up strongly for what she believes in.

Fatal Flaw: stubborn (is that a flaw?)

History: Amber loved taking care of people and plants when she was young. Her father had opened up a gardening store, and Amber spent all her childhood there, and even some time now. She started getting involved with protests to save the planet, and started a community garden center. She found out she was a demigod when she was 14, while she was at the garden upset one day. She was so upset and while she was watering the plants, they grew so well and tall and strong, it was almost too good to be true. She started experimenting like that at home and saw how the plants went crazy when they were around her. Her father noticed this, and admit who her mother really was, and then sent her to CHB

Strength and Weakness: Her strengths are farming, planting, etc. Weakness are pollution, and machinery. She hates man made items.

Personality: Alex is a very sweet and kind guy, despite his unluckiness with relationships. He never cheats or anything, but being a son of Aphrodite attracted a lot of unwanted female attention, and most of his girlfriends weren't okay with that. OR were. And he usually wasn't. He became somewhat reclusive, thinking it better to just stay out of the relationship game, and even really the friend game, after his best human friend quickly became more than a friend.



Fatal Flaw: Trust. Alex doesn't trust himself after many questionable acts of both sexual and non-sexual natures.

History: Alex grew up in a village occupied mostly by his family, a safe haven for demigods of varying types. It was almost Feudal, but with Greek influences. His father was a son of Hecate, and his mother Aphrodite. She put a lot of fire into their night(Literally and Figuratively), so his hair came out bright red, and his easiest called upon magic became fire. He also possessed a lot of natural come-hither, and was the most popular puppy-love item in kindergarten and so on. When he reached High School, he became the heart-breaker, until he met one girl who changed him greatly, ridding him of his arrogant Aphrodite ways, and making him feel like he was an actual person. Tragically, she was killed in a vicious, violating attack one night, thoroughly shattering his heart. He retains his personality in her memory, but he never trusts himself to be good enough, strong enough, or fast enough to matter.

Personality: Abigail is a soft, naive type of person, easily fooled into trusting people around her with a little manipulation on their part. She has a strong sense of self preservation, and is a true neutral- she will do whatever it takes to stay alive, whatever the cost. Despite this, she's very caring about people, and doesn't wish to hurt anyone. She can be controlled through fear, because as long as you've got a liable threat against her, she will do your bidding. However, she also has some aspects of manipulation on her part. She finds it very easy to lie about things, but generally avoids doing it since she worries about being "discovered".

Fatal Flaw: Ignorance and Caution (they go hand in hand) She is very ignorant to other people's motives and is very easily manipulated into doing other people's biddings and trusting them with herself.

History: Abigail grew up in Minnesota in a mostly remote area with lots of hunting space with her mother, a woman who modelled for magazines in the area. When not modelling, her mother would take Abigail to go hunting with her in the forest just outside her home, teaching her how to skin deer and moose, and how to properly treat game. Her mother, being an ambitious woman with a lot of looks to her name, was easily sought out by Zeus.

However, her mother didn't just hunt animals. She also hunted people, and was a heavily sought out serial killer by the federal and state police. Generally she hunted girls who looked extremely similar to Abigail- tall, slender, with long brown hair and light eyes. Her reason was that, "she wouldn't have to kill Abigail otherwise" (since Abigail being born was a scandal, essentially ruining her career). Thus began the emotional manipulation on Abigail. Her mother used Abigail to lure the girls into their home, and her mother would serve them dinner, only to murder them in the forest afterwards.

Eventually, a Satyr found her before any monsters did- the bloodstains in her house were so mortal that the monsters were warded off- and managed to knock out her mother, but not before she made an attempt on Abigail's life, leaving her with a thick scar on her neck. She made it to camp at 15.

Fetal Flaw: Trustworthy but stubborn at times.

History: Dakota had a pretty normal life until she was 7, when she was 7 strange things started to happen, she could pretty much ask for something and she would get it. Her dad started to worry so he sent her away to a school that might help her control her weird power. Dakota got kicked put of that school a year later, then monsters started to attack a year after that. Her dad kept sending her to new schools and she kept getting kicked out. Then a man came a brought her to Camp Half-Blood when she just turned 16.

{History:} Mist lived with her mom and stepfather in small apartment in Seattle. When she was three, her father died in a car crash, leaving just her mom to take care of her.
It was an average life. Mist's mom raised her well, but as Mist grew older, their good life vanished. At age five, Mist and her mother had been in the kitchen, making cookies together, when her mom heard something. Being a kid, Mist didn't care very much, mostly focused on what they were doing, but her mother knew what it was. She recognized the inhuman screech that sounded.
Moving quickly, she took her child in her arms and ran to their front door, unlocking it hurriedly. Seeing her mom's panic, Mist started asking worried questions, wanting to know what was going on, why her mom was upset. Her mom just shook her head and set her daughter down outside the door, kissing her forehead once and whispering, "I love you, baby. Now run," then slammed the door shut. Startled, Mist called to her mom, only greeted by a loud order yelled through the door. RUN.
Not knowing what was going on, Mist ran out of the apartment building, scared and confused, but listening to what her mom told her to do, though she didn't go too far. She hid in an alley across the street, behind a dumpster, shaking as she peeked out, watching the building she'd just exited. She heard the strange noises from earlier, except much louder. Watching in horror as something flew into one of the many windows all the apartments had, Mist stayed where she was, too terrified to do anything else.
She stayed like that, unaware of how much time passed, staring at where she lived, the little five-year-old close to having an anxiety attack. After what felt like forever, the thing soared out of the building, letting out a sound that Mist couldn't even begin to describe. She remained in the alley, frozen, staying there until she felt confident enough that when she stepped out, that creature wouldn't attack her.
Mist returned to where she and her mom lived.. Well, used to. Inside, she found her mother lying on the ground, still and pale. She figured out that her mom wouldn't 'wake up' after trying for minutes on end, crying.
In the end, the little demigod decided to follow what her mother had last said to her. To run. She left behind her home and didn't return to it.
Only when Mist was seven did a satyr finally find her and bring her to camp. It was there that she found out what attacked her mom, who her real dad was, and how to protect herself. She only told Chiron what had happened when she was young, trusting him to keep it a secret, to not go around gossiping about it, not wanting other campers to pity her. Besides, the past is the past, isn't it?

History: Ashley didn't know she could do what she could do until very recently. She was able to turn anything and find a way to make music out of it. She could him a pitch and birds would mimic her, clap a rhythm and animals would find a way to repeat it. But this is now, let's move on to her actual past.

As a child she grew up fatherless, obviously, so living with a poor single mother wasn't very easy. She lived in a tough part of town which is where she learned how to fight. Of course the way she learned how to fight and how they are taught in the camp have very few similarities. At the age of five, she broke the wrist of a man who tried to kidnap her. History: Anita grew up into a home with no real motherly figure. Her mother was always working late into the night. Being a head doctor, that happens a lot. She was cared for by her brother, Jayden, who used the money that her mother made to make sure that they were taken care of. When Anita turned 10, she finally expressed to her mother one Saturday that she couldn’t take it anymore. All the other kids had mothers who baked brownies for them and took them to the movies with their fathers and they all made fun of Anita because her father left, and they figured that her mother was an alcoholic who hung out with a different guy every night. Of course it wasn’t true, but Anita didn’t truly know what to believe.
One day, she left school during recess and ran to her brother’s high school. When it was time for him to leave, she walked up to him and asked if they could run away. She couldn’t take the laughter and accusations anymore, and being at home by herself wasn’t an option. Jayden agreed, thinking that in a few days, she would want to go back home. He was right too. Unfortunately, two furies found them and drove them to Camp Half Blood.

Kellen is someone not to be underestimated. Even though when one first looks at her, they may think she is not extremely tough, looks can be deceiving. When in battle, she becomes skilled and fierce, and once she is done, she kind of just shrugs it off. Those who don't know her, may think she is kind of bland and closed off, but when you get to know her you will find that she is not that at all. Sure, she may be shy at first, but once you get to know her, she can be sociable and humorous(even though her form of humor is sometimes sarcasm). She actually enjoys having friends around, even though sometimes she can seem like she doesn't want people around. Kellen is very determined when it comes to doing what she wants. History:
October 20th
My mom got me my diary today. I think that's about all her and daddy are good for- getting me stuff. I mean, in elementary school, I wasn't popular, but they haven't once helped me out- let alone ask how I was. Whenever daddy comes home from work, he grabs this bottle from the fridge and sits on the couch and drinks it. It always makes him really mean, and I don't know what is in it that makes him do that. Mom's a whole different story. She works, and is always stressed, and takes out of her yelling on me. And I didn't even do... Oh no. Mom's home again. I thinks it's one of her bad days. Happy eleventh birthday to me.

December 27th
I found out my daddy isn't actually my father. He told when he was drinking that stuff. I was just going to get a snack, and that's what he told me. Two days after Christmas. Great Christmas present, huh? I asked mom about it, thinking she wouldn't get angry since it was during the holidays. It didn't help, though. I still got yelled at. I go back to school soon. I can't help but be glad about that, since it means I get to do something else other than sit around in the house and avoid my parents.

May 15th
Something attacked me while I was playing on the playground today. I told the teacher, and she told me it was just a dog. But, I know it wasn't. It was bigger, and scarier. It was almost like a wolf, or a monster, or something.I miss the teachers in elementary school. At least they were nice to me. These teachers are just plain mean. I have the feeling they just think I'm weird or something. I mean, I'm not that bad, am I?

October 20th
Something attacked the house. I don't know what happened because I ran before it got to me. Too bad it followed me, even when I had taken off as fast as I could. I had a baseball bat with me, of course, but when it got to me, the most incredible thing happened. It was like I had this special power flowing through me and I killed it. And I only got a few gashes. I guess I'm spending the night in the sewer. I guess it's a happy thirteenth birthday today. And I got here all by myself. That's the best way to do it, I guess.

November 18th
I ended up at this camp. They said it was for half-bloods. So, my dad was a god. A real god. That would explain the powers, and the monsters attacking me. But, I'll be safe here. And I'll finally not be by myself. He claimed me last night, when I was practicing battling with a few other girls. Ares, god of war. It really does explain my ability to fight. I think I may be here for a long, long time.

History:
Hunter knew since he was a little boy that he had godly blood running through his veins. His mother was a demi-god, her mother being Athena. Once she passed the age of 24, monsters no longer hunted her down the way they used to. She stopped going to Camp Half Blood and married. Even though Hunter and his sister are second generation demi-gods, monsters still came after them, causing his family to have to go into hiding and constantly change locations. When Hunter was 14 they were located in Chicago, IL and had been living there for two years without any monster sightings. One day, while walking the lake front, a band of Harpies began attacking them. They dragged Eliza away and viciously killed Hunter's parents right in front of him. Thinking quickly, Hunter used a stick as a sword and fought off some of the Harpies, but received plenty of cuts and gashes from their talons. As he blacked out, Liz burst through the trees and killed off the rest of them alongside a satyr. Once the Harpies were gone, she ordered the satyr to take Hunter to camp, while she went after the other Harpies that ran away. The satyr objected but Liz didn't give him a choice. She said goodbye to Hunter, promised him that she would meet him at camp in a few days, and ran off covered in what he hoped wasn't her own blood. That was the last he ever saw of her.

History:
Kiara is the daughter of a minor god and never had any problem with monsters hunting her down excessively. Her father was a well known athlete which is how he caught the attention of Nike. Kiara knew nothing of her blood status until an awkward boy in crutches found her one day after track practice and told her what she was. At first she didn't believe him, but that's when the Erinyes attacked. Using a broken pole vault pole, Kiara speared the furies to gold dust without even getting a scratch. That night Kiara left her father and traveled to Camp Half Blood with the satyr, where she joined the campers and began training.

History: Lia grew up in an orphanage until a couple adopted her. The couple was just married, and after a few years they wanted to get a divorce. Not wanting to because of Lia, her father ended up abusing her. He punched her multiple times and she has a few scars on her stomach and her shoulder from when her dad threw some beer bottles at her. Her dad would usually abuse her, then shove her into the closet or some other small area, and she would hear him argue with her mom and abuse her. Eventually, she was sent to a boarding school.

One night she was asleep and had a dream about camp half blood and shadow traveled there on accident, and then managed to come back. She found out where the camp is and is now there.

Strength and Weakness: She can shadow travel and turn invisible. She can't always control when she turns invisible, and won't even notice if she turned invisible. She can shadow travel, but with that her only weakness is when she's asleep. She can't control her powers when she sleeps, if she's invisible in her sleep or shadow travels or both, it happens. She'll shadow travel to wherever she's dreaming about or not and sometimes she turns invisible. Also, using her powers wears her out.

Being a daughter of Hades is no secret for Vinny. Just her attitude, dressing style and how she holds herself is evidence enought. Maybe one would take her arrogance as a daughter of Hades, but her darker demeor quickly clear it up. She keeps most of her things to herself, but doenst like to fade into the background. Vanessa doesn't typically get along with people all that well, usually she finds a way to insult them and then leave. That, or she aviods them altogether. Personality: Alexavier is an innovative thinker, brilliant strategists, and is stubbornly dogmatic in his beliefs. He likes to quietly observe new people and surroundings but is surprisingly opinionated and outspoken once he is comfortable. This is a highly capable sign that has the ability to accomplish just about anything. His only real obstacle in life is himself.

Alexavier is inherently contradictory. Xavier often feels an inner conflict throughout his life that he has difficulty putting into words. The sons of Eros are all bi, and the strongest. They are all good with a bow and arrow. Eros' children can control lust, love, infatuation, and annoyance.


◘Pheromone Manipulation-The ability to give off Pheromones that attract both females and males as if ready to mate or just have sex. This comes in handy when one is lonely.

◘Ecstasy Inducement-can bring upon a state of ecstasy to another person, making them become dazed for a short time.

◘Rage Deduction-Ability to make someone feel less angry around himself.

◘Touch of Desire-this creates the feeling that one must instantly desire him. In a raving maddness they become compelled to do whatever he desires them to do. Touch of Desire-When provoked anyone he touches will fall madly for him without being able to help it until he gives the Kiss of Deception. This allows any of his spells over people to slowly disappear.

◘Charmspeak-Noted to be extremelt rare in males the son of Eros holds far greater power than one could ever imagine being a child of Eros and a Legacy of Arachne and Aphrodite he holds great sway in others personal beliefs with his very words.

◘Aura of Seduction-This aura permits him to walk into a room and his very presence, breath, appearance seems to make everyone seem to fall for him.

◘Amokinesis-the mystical ability to arouse love and passion in others. He also possesses the ability to entrance any mortal or god he desires with control over love, lust, beauty and other things related to them.

◘Temptations Whisper-Much like Charmspeech this ability is one only given to the sons of Aphrodite or Eros as rare as it is it is existent. Temptations whisper can travel around the world to a specific target and whisper temptations in the ear of their victims in a manner of charmspeak.

◘Summoning of Spiders-Archne doesn't have many demigod children but when one appears she ensures their constant safety into the many generations of the family. This ability summons large spiders to his aid.

◘Wings-The ability much like his father to simply sprout wings. the tattoos remain the same, but the wings are different for each person blessed with them. Personifying who they are and what they represent.
Alexavier's wings appear more darkened as if he is turning darker. This shows Eros' blood of Ares in him and proves that genes are commonly pushed into characteristics when it comes to gods and their children.

Alexavier (Xavier) was forced to leave his mother for Camp Halfblood where he left San diego cradled by his father as he flew him there hismelf. Eros was enver given full permission to see the abomination of Eros and Hera's curse failing. But, He was pretty much raised by his father. Seeing Eros as more of a brotherly figure later on rather than fatherly.

Alexavier became a warrior and his father took pride in that, but then Eros' visits became fewer in number until none at all. The last time Alexavier saw his father he was 15. Xavier was cared for by many, but he also cared for many himself. But he remained a loner. Hera was not fond of him at all but she loved Eros enough to not pick on him. He still remained as mischievous as his father was. Getting into fights and argument people began to know to stay away from Xavier worth all their life. He only started fights to prove himself not jsut the son of a minor god fo love. he was something much more powerful than that and people should fear him. Personality: He is quiet. At first meeting people think that he is a major a**hole, because he is standoffish and rood. He may not seem like it, but he can be very sweet and can cheer up anyone if he truly tries to. Cole can also be a very sociable person and can carry out a lengthy conversation with anyone.

Fatal Flaw: Cole has had trust issues ever since he was sent to the orphanage.

History: Heather Williams only fell in love once. She fell deeply in love and would always love the other. When she found out she was with child, she happily ran to Poseidon to tell him the news. Unfortunately he had already gone back to Olympus. His time with her had come to an end he thought, and he would live forever in her in the eyes of his son. Heather was devastated, but figured that’s what happened when you had an affair with a god. Her son was born four months later and was able to his dad for the first time without ever knowing it. Poseidon felt bad for not being able to hear the news from Heather about the baby, so he disguised himself as a doctor and helped the child when he was still in the hospital. Heather hadn’t thought of a good enough name for her son, so she prayed to Poseidon for a name that he had always wanted for a son. The disguised doctor came in for a regular check-up and asked if she had thought of a name yet. She said she was waiting for an answer from a dear friend of hers, and Poseidon said that he had always wanted to name one of his kids Cole. Heather knew in that moment that this doctor was the father of her new baby boy and smiled from ear to ear. Poseidon smiled back before disappearing.
Cole was 8 ½ when he started getting into knights and swordplay. He had asked for a real sword for his ninth birthday, but didn’t hold his breath too much. He was never able to get much of what he asked for. Mainly just clothes gift cards and maybe a few toys, but nothing too expensive. This year though his mom had gotten a raise at work. So she had a bit more spending money. So she decided to splurge a bit. She would never forget the look on his face when he opened up the box and found his very own sword wrapped inside. He didn’t even care about any of the other gifts. The sword was the only thing that mattered to him. Well, that and thanking his mother twenty times a day for the sword.
Three years later, his mom got into a terrible car wreck and died the next day. None of Cole’s other family members wanted to take him in. They had never had the best experience with him when they visited. Sinks bursting and shooting water at them in the face, toilets getting clogged and spraying water back at them, raining when there was only a 30% chance of rain with a few clouds in the sky, and sprinklers randomly spraying them when there wasn’t any other way to possibly get hit with water. So social services had to send him to an orphanage. Cole cried for a week after his mother’s death.
The kids at the orphanage were all mean to Cole. They called him a wuss for crying and called him freak for never having any hot showers when he showered before any of them. The girls thought he was cute, but were extremely afraid of him because they always saw him practicing him sword fighting skills against a tree and nearly making the tree tip over before stopping. One time the kids went too far. They decided to get Cole back by stealing his sword while he slept. When Cole woke up in the morning, he was furious. He hadn’t been able to find anyone before breakfast so the only way to take his anger out was to destroy the male bathroom nearest the boys’ dorm. Pipes busted and water spewed everywhere. It started trickling into the dorm room when Cole realized that he hadn’t checked the side of the leader’s top bunk. He quickly ran into the room and pulled himself onto the top bunk and looked over the side of the railing closest to the wall. There it sat, waiting for him to pick up. As soon as he had grabbed it, the water stopped flowing. He smiled slightly and climbed down from the bunk. He turned around and saw a kid staring at him. He always walked with a crutch and always wore a sunhat to hide his untamable bedhead. He told Cole to grab all of his stuff and to meet him out by the last tree he whacked.
Half an hour later, Cole stood with the kid near the border of the orphanage. The boy told Cole to help him over the fence, and in return the other would find Cole a nice safe place to live. Cole agreed and helped him up and over the fence. After he got over, the two of them took off at a run to get as much distance as they could between them and the orphanage. Two hours later, they arrived at a bus station and caught the next bus to New York City. They weren’t too fond of the bus, seeing as it held a team of softball players going to their next game, but they didn’t think there was any other option. Just outside the Camp Half-Blood entrance, Poseidon claimed Cole as his own son. Off in the distance a Minotaur roared off in the distance, too far to get Cole and his new companion though. Cole has now been at Camp Half-Blood for three and a half years.

notable traits: A common theme with Hephaestus kids is their usual quietness, which is even more prominent with Holly, due to her muteness.
