Hi all! I have recently published the first book in the "Avalanche" series.
I won't spoil it for you, but I will say that it is a face-paced, sci-fi action story with dystopian elements, rich characters, thrilling ship-to-ship combat, secret Navy baddies, and a few good old fashioned gun fights. Some key inspirations are Firefly, Glynn Stewart's "Castle Federation" books, Lindsay Buroker's "Fallen Empire" series, Star Wars, my own experiences in the military, and so on.
If I had to self-review, I would say my writing strengths have been the strong, cohesive action scenes, rich and interesting characters, and a fictional-yet-plausible level of technology in my spacecraft. My weaknesses may be a pace that is a little *too* fast for some people, and a lead character that is perhaps a little too good at the things she does. And of course I am sure there is the odd spelling error... :)
This first book is relatively short, novella in length, however the second book in the series, Charlatan, is well on its way to completion and will be almost three times as long (and 99c to make up for it!)
And of course a big thank you to my talented friend Katerina Rastripolko from Ukraine for the beautiful cover art.
