I'm not sure I quite like Julia Jones as Leah...I'm interested to see what they make of her. She does look much too old to play the young girl I pictured in my mind.I personally think Xavier fits Riley's part much better than Micheal. His face, bone structure, hair, everything but those red eyes were what I had imagined. I'm hoping he'll be a good actor.
I have high hopes for BooBoo. He isn't exactly what I pictured, but I think he'll do good. Besides that, when I pictured Seth I didn't picture a native american, so I wasn't expecting to see what I had pictured. I had pictued a young, cute, blond haired, tan skinned, strong, skinnyish yet muscular boy. Blond hair probably just because of his Sandy colored fur.
I think Jodelle will do wonderfully. And I agree with Melzz...her face better fits Jane than Dakota's does IMO.
I never exactly said that, but Jodelle's got a lot going for her.

I think Leah is perfect...as for Seth, I was not so sure about Boo Boo....but the more I look at him the more I think he suits it!! Didnt care much about who played Riley so X is fine!!
However Leah and Seth (and yes he is my Fav W/Wolf) was important! and I am happy with the actors....lets just hope they can act!!

I'm sorry, I knew Shia from back in his Even Stevens days, and his character irritated me so much.
This is how I will always see him. Louis Stevens. Ugh. Did any of you watch him back then? I used to see that show every other day, and his character did all this stupid stuff. Louis was that annoying school mate that you wished would leave you alone. He obviously grew up, but some images can't leave you.

He looked like that before, when he wasn't making odd nostril flared faces. I just think I was fated to remember him that way. Although, there was a breif moment in time, watching Indiana Jones, that I forgot about the awkward. The awkward then came back.
No I cannot except a child hood actor into Twilight. He's weird looking too.

I saw that show too, but hes hot now. And I don't just mean hot, I mean HOT!!!!!
I think that even thought the girl playing Leah is older she fits the role much better. I like her look and for the most part older actors are more responsible when it comes to showing up for the shoots. They never cast people the actual age they are looking for.

They don't hire people that have issues showing up for a shoot. I think that at any age they are only going to get the people that are professional. And from what I've seen, the younger ones seem to have a heck of a lot more punctuality.
Like Dakota Fanning (15), she's been in numerous movies, and she's never halted shooting. And then when you look at celebrities like Christian Bale (35), and Lindsay Lohan (23). They are constantly causing a back up. I really don't like the assertion that "for the most part" younger actors can't be as professional.

I didn't say all young actors were bad or not professional, nor did I say that all adult actors are bad or not professional. You have both in any age range you deal with. My personal opinion I would rather have an actor/actress who may be slightly older to play the role depending on what age they are looking for. I love Dakota Fanning. I think she is an awesome actress who has had some amazing roles for her age. Lindsay Lohan was a great actress but fell off the wagon and needs help. Christian Bale is HOT but if he is causing delays then that's a problem. I think the problem with "some" (is that better) younger actors/actresses is that parents push them into the business to soon and then by the time they hit the party years they go down hill and never bounce back.
I am just not a Shia Labuef fan...
