Hello there! This book has been on my mind for quite some time. I started reading it about 5 years ago but I was way too young for it so my dad told me to wait until I'm older. I'm 18 now and I've been searching for this book for months. I remember that it's about a diary of a girl from the Middle Age that's found by a girl that lives in the present. She reads the diary because she feels that she has an intimate connection to the girl, even if they live in other times. The one that's writing the journal is kidnapped from a church and becomes a slave on a boat, but she continues to write as she feels that that is the only escape.

If you think you know what book I might be talking about, please let me know! I would love to read it again.

Another thing, I'm 100% sure that the author of this book is female.
