I probably should break up ... just kidding. He keeps telling me if it was on audio he MIGHT listen. *sigh* anyone know how to convert books into audiobooks or where do I start?

I sympathise, my husband doesn't read either. I'm about to release my 16th book and he still classes it as messing on the computer. I took him to a signing hoping it would change his mind... nope, he just found it all rather strange. As for audio, you can either self record on MP4 and upload it or you can go onto amazon and scroll down the page to the bottom and click on ACX. There you can upload your manuscript, a taster for audition and look for a narrator. There is a free option which costs you nothing the 50/50 royalty share where you both get 50% of royalties for each audio book sold. Although it has to stay on sale with audible for 7-years. There are also options to pay for the narrator and each one charges a different price per hour of reading. Hope this helps... good luck.
My partner is a illiterate but he doesn't mind me reading to him a chapter a night before bed (like I do with my kids) it's our way of bonding and showing him the world I love. He said he would try audio book but he has listened in on a few I've tried but didn't like the voices, so it's better for me to read to him. So maybe you could try that or like above record you reading a book for him

Nothing says you can’t have a real life book boyfriend. You know, a second boyfriend that reads the books you do. Could be a new fad.
I married a non-reader at least partly because when we were dating, he would take me on dates to the bookstore. The man has read maybe a dozen novels in the 25 years we've been married - and he's sure as heck never going to read mine. What matters is that he supports my writing because I'm passionate about it. I know he's told his friends what I do, and he takes me out to dinner to celebrate new releases - even after 15 books.
That's the sign of a keeper, not whether they ever actually read your books.
But if you want to try a lot of great audiobooks, don't forget that your local library has access to thousands of them. Easy and inexpensive way to try new things!
