Male hero, moderate violence, no sex. I need the readers to be fans of urban fantasy who have read widely in the genre (ie. Dresden Files, Anita Blake, Iron Druid, etc.). If possible, I'd love male AND female beta readers.
What I need:
1. Read the first 20-30 pages and tell me if you would continue reading (no editing required; just reading and providing me your impressions). I would ask for comments within 48 hours.
2. After you provide feedback, I will incorporate your comments into a revision in about 24-48 hours. I would ask that you reread it and give me your impressions (shouldn't take as long). Again, a 48 hour turnaround to respectful of your time.
3. Take a brief survey (5-10 min) about your reading habits
Timeline:
This project would start around Dec 8 and end around Dec 16-17, and payment will be issued when I receive your final comments.
Sorry, I cannot read anyone else's books in exchange for doing this.
I can only accept urban fantasy readers for this project as I'm looking for genre-specific feedback and need insights from someone who reads this genre regularly.
