“Well we don’t have to leave right now, but we do need to hang out on the top of the roof in a few minutes so we don’t get bitten by these things. They might easily break down your door since they easily broke that thing down. Now that I’m thinking about it.” She says and looks around “do you still have those gas masks and gas mask filters just Incase the zombie apocalypse?” Paisley asks “or Werewolf apocalypse.” She says trying to brighten the mood with her weird since of humor.

He smiles from her joke and gives her a quick peck on the lips as he went to his closet and got them. He handed one to her and latched his to his backpack. "Oh yeah we will need food too." He says as he goes to the kitchen. Packing his backpack with food. Just as he finished up. There was banging on his front door and growling can be heard from the other side. He drew his pistol in a quick reaction.
Paisley quickly wrapped something around Zelda’s mouth so she would’ve bark, she picked her up and went outside the window to the fire escape she held her breath until she knew the mask was working then she put one on her dogs nose, one that she’d have bought for her dog a while back. Then she’d waited for her gas mask to start working and she put hers on. Has the mask filtered clean air she gasps as she couldn’t have held her breath any longer.
Austin saw Paisley taking care of zelda them move over to the newly opened window. He put on his gas-mask and opened the filter, still aiming his pistol at the banging door. The door crumpling under the weight. revealing a snarling wolf face with long brown hair. Likely that this wolf used to be his neighbor Lisa. He got out on the fire escape just as the door was about to give way. He was unsure if to fire on the wolf to defend himself. That noise could attract more wolves.
Luckily Zelda would follow any command Paisley would give her. As Zelda growled with the thing still wrapped around her mouth Paisley said quietly “Zelda shh.” Zelda stopped her growling they both stayed quiet as Paisley grabbed a leash before she came out on the fire escape. As she saw Austin walk out she quickly yanked him aside.
Austin followed Paisley, knowing that she wanted them to stay quiet. He flattened himself against the side of the building, still holding his pistol. Trying to be as quiet as possible. They could hear the door being bust down. Then the growling creature roamed through his apartment sniffing around. Austin was afraid that their new cloths wouldn't conceal their scent.
She was scared that the were-wolf could smell their scent, but she knew the wolf would head towards their old clothes first because their natural bodily scent would be more on the old ones than the new ones. “Let’s super quietly head up the fire escape. To the roof.” Paisley said just Incase it decided to head to the fire escape because his neighbor was pretty smart. So it would lead to a really smart werewolf.
Austin nodded in compliance with her idea. He backed away, up the fire escape as quietly as he could. Aiming his gun at the corner in which wolf Lisa would enter the fire escape. The wolf went to the bedroom, she sniffed around. Quickly finding the cloths that they wore the day before. She then sniffed her way to the open window. She turned the corner and saw both Austin and Paisley trying to escape. Austin start shooting at Lisa. Lisa yelps and hides back around the corner.
“Shit! We need to go back down. Wolves go up way easier than they would go down. I didn’t think that it would figure out we were at the first escape so quick.” Paisley says as she turned around
Austin puts his arm out in front to stop Paisley. "The way down is right near Lisa is hiding. If we go down, then she might hop out and grab up." He says Holding her back. "Any Ideas? We need to move quickly before move wolves come."
Paisley nods and looks around, noticing a building closer to them than a building usually is to other buildings. “Do you still have that gravel hook? Did you remember to grab it?” She says and looks at him
Austin looks to what Paisly was looking at. "Yeah I do, hold on." He says as he reaches in his backpack and searches for the grappling hook. He takes it out and holstered his pistol. He throws it onto the building next to them. Then pulls it and feels that is sturdy. He then Uses It to swing through a window of the neighboring building. The crash alerts lisa and she Comes around the corner, growling at Paisley. She was wearing the work skirt and blouse that wore when she went to work. Only now the blouse was torn open, revealing her larger breasts. Her leggings where shredded, leading down to her hairy hind paws. She sported a fluffy brown tail between her legs. As well as a clearly canine face. He longer hair usually tied back into a pony tail now blended with her mane of hair. The strap of her pony tail still in her mane. Lisa then jumped at Paisley.
Paisley then out of reaction Zelda jumped back at Lisa, Lisa scorched Zelda in a huge scratch on the back of her neck to the bottom of her rib cage. As Paisley got a broken bar from the ground and swung it at Lisa, slashing straight into her right eye. The brunette girl with freckles on her face was getting scared. She didn’t know how long she would have before Lisa healed herself. She grabbed her hurt dog and ran past Lisa, down the stairs of the fire escape level to Austin and where he was at “Austin send over the rope! Hurry, Lisa’s healing herself! And Zelda’s hurt really bad!” Paisley said
Austin nods and throws over the rope. Lisa by then was riving in pain, but it soon healed and her pain went away. She growled and turned to Paisley. Austin then readied his rifle and went to the next window so Paisley could enter his building. He took a few shots at Lisa with his scar, he walked right up her chest and through her head. Lisa then fell limp and fell off the fire escape. He exchanges his half empty mag for a full fresh one.
Paisley then watched as Lisa fell limp and hit the floor “ouch.. she then set Zelda on the ground and fully observed Zelda’s injuries. It was way to deep to even try to fix she started tearing up and she watched Helplessly as her dog cried in pain laying on the ground. Paisley started to tear up and cry watching her suffer and she can’t do anything about it.
Austin then turned his gun on the building they where in, covering Paisley as had her final moments with her dog. Even he had tears rolling down his cheeks. He wiped his cheek and determined that they where in no immediate threat. He turned to paisley and unholstered his pistol, giving it to her. "I'm sorry Paisley, don't let Zelda suffer. She was such a good girl and doesn't deserve this." He says looking at paisley sadly.
Paisley had tears continue to roll down her cheeks as she grabbed the pistol slowly from him and laid it on the floor and hugged her dog one last time. Despite her excruciating pain she still put her paw on Paisley like she always would when they hugged each other. She then moved her paw and Paisley got up and grabbed the gun and aimed it at Zelda as sniffed and cried some more as she thought about the great memories with Zelda, and Austin. She had to snap back to reality when she herd her cry again. She looked at her dog and aimed it correctly, closed her eyes and pulled the trigger. She looked at her dog and saw she was no longer in anymore pain. She was gone, she dropped the gun, fell to the floor and started crying even more.
Austin had been looking away from Paisley and zelda as they shared their last moments. His gun was aimed further into the office building, just in case all of this noise alerted any canines in this building. Though from what he could hear from Paisley and her dog. He knew they where sharing a tender last moment. He heard the pistol go off and echo through the supposedly empty building. He then heard her crying. He stayed on guard but he too had tears falling down his cheeks. Zelda was a good girl and did not deserve this.
As she was crying she thought about all the good moments with her beloved white Husky. This was going to be so hard for Paisley to get over. But her thoughts interrupted by howling in the distance, but as it continued, the howling got louder and louder. Paisley knew she had to go, but she didn’t want to leave Zelda just yet. She realized she’d left her phone back In his Appointment. “Austin we have to go back to your apartment later to get my phone.” She said she knew they had to leave now. She bent down and pat Zelda’s side where it wasn’t so bloody one last time and said “come on.” As she ran off, but not leaving without him.
Austin followed Paisley, aiming his rifle though the building. He had heard howls somewhere in this building so he knew they where not yet safe. As they rounded a corner in a hall way a black man jumped up with his hands up "Hey hey, I'm not infected don't shoot." Austin was startled by this but did not hurt the man. "You guys must be other survivors. You must be that sound of breaking glass and gunshots." Says the man. Then out of the corner of his eye, Austin sees a wolf dressed in a torn secretary outfit bounding for them. He starts shooting at the wolf but the wold dodges. It was not until the wolf was nearly on the man that Austins rounds connect. The man fell back in surprise as blood squirted from the beast, drenching him in it.
Paisley was so surprised she almost punched the But in the face she thought to herself “geez he scared the shit out of me!” She says to herself and covered her mouth as she tried not to think about her dog she had just lost. She loved that dog so much. But she saw Austin she also shot the beast realizing she still had the gun. She shot the beast right in between the eyes as Austin she him right in the chest. He blood gushing out of him and onto Austin made her shiver. “Come one, lets get out of here.”
Austin backed away, luckily the blood had only gotten on the lower part of his black sweatpants. Austin nodded to Paisley and turned back to the man. "Come on we have to get out of here before more show up." But the man did not respond. He had gotten blood in his mouth and eyes from the beast. He grabbed at his chest as black fur started sprouting all over him. He grew bigger, hid feet shredded his shoes and a tail shot out of the back of his pants. His eyes glowed golden and his face turned onto the mussel of a wolf. He sniffed the air with his changed nose and charged at Paisley. This happened too fast for Austin to react.
Paisley didn’t have time to react either before, she was like a deer in headlights before the deer moves at the last second to avoid getting hit by the car. That’s exactly what happened to Paisley, she moved at the very last second. The claw of his paw, and huge wolf canine teeth only missing her by several centimeters. She dodged him quickly but, she had to be fast to react, before he charged at Austin. She had her Large Katana with her, so she pulled it out from her back pack holding and charged back at him. Her razor sharp Katana predicting through his thick wolf fur, and skin stabbing him. She herd a howl like sound and then an exhale and he fell dead.
Austin watched Paisley dispatch the newly infected wolf quickly with her katana blade. He had to admit she looked really hot doing it. He watched the wold slide off her sword and to the ground. "Thanks for the save Paisley." He says walking up to her and giving her a soft kiss on the lips. He pulls back and looks into her beautiful eyes for a second. "We should go we have to find some place safe to stay for the night." He says after a moment.
“Your welcome Austin.” She said and smiled softly at him kissing him back for a moment. She looked at him nodded as well “Yea we should, let’s go find a place to hide. And we can go back and get my phone from your apartment tomorrow. I need it.” She says and tried to take her Katana, out of the guy but it was a little difficult. She got on top of him and pulled as she got it out she fell backwards hitting her head in the concrete ground. “I’m okay.” She said faintly and held a thumbs up so he could see her hand.
He watched her try to take her sword from the dead wolf. If was clearly stuck in his rib cage. He saw her pull it out and fall backwards, getting some blood on her leggings. "Are you sure Paisley?" Asks Austin as he runs up to her and hold out a helping hand to get her up. It looked like a bad fall she had. He hoped that she did not have a concussion.
As she got up she felt a little dizzy but nothing to serious “yeah I think so, I’m a bit dizzy but it’s all good.” She said as she held onto him and put her Katana blade back in her backpack and put it back on her back as she walked with Austin to try and find a safe place to hide out for the night
Austin could see that she was clearly not alright so he had no problem helping walk around. He shouldered his rifle and took his pistol back from her. He knew that this was a large office building and that it was large, maybe it had some underground component to it. It was the weekend so he expected it to be mostly empty. He walked them up to the elevator and called it.
She walked where ever he went, as she walked she got more and more dizzy. She called Zelda to follow them as they walked away, not really thinking that she had to put her down other wise she’d die a horrible, slow and painful death. “Come on Zelda.” She said a little tiredly “wow I am very dizzy right now. Austin..” She said and looked at him for a second “I might pass out..” She said as she felt like she was, her feeling was right, her body went completely limp in his arms as she passed out
Austin was cringing from her delareous state. He was very worried that she would call more wolves to them. "Oh no Paisley don't... Stay with me here." He says as she falls into his arms. He drags her to the elevator. Just like he thought. This building had 6 sub-floors. He pushed on the -5. He waited with Paisley in his arms. He held her gently and tried his best to wake her up as the elevator descended.
Paisley slowly starts to wake up as they rode the elevator 5th subfloor “whoa.. what?” She says and looks around and looks at Austin “oh hey.” She said as she looked around and saw more clearly they were in an elevator “where are we?”
"We are in an elevator going to the 5th sub-floor. We should be safe there. No one would be down there and no wolf would go down there." He says his face getting a bit red as in this position her chest was against his and his hands where on her back and her butt trying to hold her up.
She slowly started to regain her strength and she looked around and held on to the side of the elevator and she looked around and noticed that the elevator door opened when it got the the floor they wanted
Austin took her arm and put it around his back. He walked into the basement, though it looked like any other floor. Just as he thought, there was no signs of life. He walked with her until they found a break room they entered and he laid her down on a couch. He then sat down on a comfy chair next to her. Staying awake to keep an eye out.
She laid back on the couch and looked at him “I love you so much Austin.” She said and looked at him smiling, reaching out her hand for him to hold
He heard her words and got up to kneel next to her. "I love you too more than anything Paisley." He says grasping her hand in both of his. "We will get through this. Just stay strong for me and Zelda, I will do the same." He says sealing his promise with a kiss to her lips.
He smiled at his powerful words and looked at him, grasping his hands tightly “I’m so tired Austin.” She must’ve hit her head harder than she originally thought she did. She’s been tired ever since then. “Can you come cuddle with me?” She said
He smiled down at her. "Move over." He says as he took off all of his bulky equipment and does the same to her, placing it withing reach against the couch. He then lays on the couch next to her, pulling her into a soft but warm hug. He then kisses her softly on the lips to remind her what he thought of her.
She smiled as she moved over to make room for him she loved him so much. “I am thankful for you everyday you know that?” She said and she kissed him back softly, then she laid down letting down her hand to pet Zelda but then she is reminded her beloved white Husky with the brightest blue eyes isn’t there. Losing Zelda was her worst nightmare, and now it was a reality. She still has Austin and she was so thankful. “This is gunna be a little rough for me to get used to.” She said as small tears was
He smiled from her words and felt her reach over for Zelda only for her not to feel her. He watched tears well up in her eyes. "I know Paisley. I thank God for everyday that I am here with you like this." He then reaches over and wipes away some of her tears, caressing her cheek gently. "I know this will be rough for both of us. I didn't know Zelda as long as you did but she was a good girls and did not deserve that. But If we are going to get through this. I need you to stay strong for her an me. Don't let her sacrifice be in vain." He says whispering to her, small tears forming in his eyes as well.
She nods and holds him tightly to her “Im not going to.” She says and cuddles with him she was sad, and tired but knew she couldn’t fall asleep because it could make her feel worse
He loved spending time with her like this, even if he was spending it trying to keep her together. He could feel her warm body against his, their chests and hips touching. "Focus on the now Paisley, focus on me in your arms. Of the warmth I'm giving you and you are giving me." He says before leaning to her and capturing her lips in a soft smooth kiss.
She smiled and looked at smiled and focused on everything he was saying she loved that he was there for her like he is. It meant a lot to her that he was.
He continued to kiss her. He brings a hand to her cheek and caresses her. While his other hand was around her waist. He then pulls back an yawns. Ready to go to sleep.
She smiles into the kiss and wrapped her hands around his shoulders as he wrapped his arms around her. She was enjoying it then he pulled back and yawned. She giggled and yawned back, in her cute little mousey like yawn she always does.
He smiled at her, enjoying her cute yawn. He gives her a final kiss before pulling back and falling asleep in his lovers arms.((skip to morning?))
((Yeah lets skip till morning))When Paisley wakes up she notices she’s been crying in her sleep. She knew why she was crying. He had a dream she relived the moment she had to shoot Zelda all over again. That just made her want to cry even more. But she knew she had to be strong for herself, and Austin. She looked over at Austin and saw he was still sleeping as she smiles and looks around. She gets up and walks around.Miraculously there’s a bathroom she walks in and notices something very strange “A shower? In a volt?” She furrowed her eye brows and shook her head and walked back to Austin
Austin slept deeply and had some strange dreams but he did not remember them. He woke up a bit later from his lovers absence. He then sat up an looked around, only to catch her entering the room. "Good morning paisley. Did you have a decent sleep?"
“Oh hello, and no not really. Bad dream caused me to wake up probably around 6:30 in the morning. I’ve been awake ever since.” She sighed sadly and sat next to him and looked at him “But you know what would make me feel much better?”
"I'm sorry to hear that. I slept fine but had weird dreams." He says watching her come over to him. He sat up and put his arm around her as she sat next to him. "What would that be?" He asks looking into her eyes lovingly.
