Hello Colleen! I'm a first-time author (but long-time screenwriter) with a book releasing January 1st called The Size of Nobodies! Would love a review of it if possible (I see you have quite a few responses to this thread now). It doesn't have to be reviewed before the release date or anything. Whenever you can would be great! Just trying to get some buzz going. I had an ebook advance ready to get over to you!

I'm super new to this part of Goodreads, so I'm not sure how to send a note yet!

Rich Rubin | 30 comments Hi Colleen, I saw your post that you accept any genre. I checked out your website and didn’t see any reviews for erotica. I have a book coming out in March that I’d like to ask you for a review.

Chris can’t stop thinking about what happened over the Thanksgiving weekend. How could the woman he married, the woman he made vows with, encourage him to sleep with her sister? Is it really cheating if the other party wants you to do it?

Now her sister is coming to visit to ring in the new year. Can Chris embrace the past like Brenda did and have A Delightful New Year ?

Pre-Orders are now available at Amazon before the book is released on March 10th. I’m happy to send you the Kindle copy of the book.

Here is a link to the book on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Delightful-New...

Paul Barthel | 14 comments I have a nonfiction manuscript that involves a story having caught considerable media attention regarding a man involved in a bitter divorce who loses his pet Labrador Retriever in custody fight. A chef, he mounts a successful campaign to reunite them, tens of thousands of dollars and three years later. From it, he finds himself again and new meaning.

To be clear, the story is not only about how he loves and tickles his dog all day, rather takes the reader into the bowels of kitchens, the politics, and demands as a chef. Slowly it then introduces him to his new puppy and the eventual bond that could not separate them.

In any case, if interested, I can offer a chapter, or chapters at your discretion. More information about the story can be found here:
pepperstale.com, or https://twitter.com/pepperbarthel

Feel free to contact me directly if interested. paulbarthel1@gmail.com

I would love a review of my latest eco-"friction" novel--Treed. E-book. Wacky but emotional ride, activism can be an adventure and FUN TOO! I like trees. Worried about them. Worried about us. Thank you so much.

Colleen (cocoelise) | 7 comments Hi everyone! I need to apologize in advance and say I am SO sorry - I know I have only gotten back to a few of you, and I feel absolutely awful about it. Of course soon after I posted this thread, life got in the way - sickness, stress at work, relationship troubles - and I haven't had nearly enough time to dedicate to reading and reviewing and connecting with you all as I wish I had.

The good news is, I *think* things are finally slowing down over here, so I will have more time to check out some of your work. There's no way I can get to every single one of you, but I am going to try my best to get back to as many of you as I can in the next few weeks. THANK YOU ALL for the interest, I had NO idea I would get so many messages.

Talk to you soon! <3

Thank you Colleen! Please let me know if you would review my book, "Stop Depriving The World of You." It is a personal development book and not long. I have received some very good reviews on Goodreads and Amazon, with a couple of the same on B&N. Let me know if you are able.

A Body Resurrected by Groovy Lee

BLURB:

Sixteen year-old Mira is an Egyptian girl who lives a quiet life in her small village in Lower Egypt 3303 B.C.E. But two visitors from the planet Aut are about to change that. The first “flying metal” that whips across the sky carries a murderous plague by the name of Demen. The second one that follows, brings a bounty-hunter named Weir. Against her father’s wishes, Mira becomes Weir’s accomplice in his mission to apprehend Demen before another woman dies by his hands.

But there’s a problem: Demen is now a powerful Pharaoh in the city of Sharkura. Will apprehending him cost Weir and Mira their lives?

Almay, California, USA, twenty-first century:

Tina Leggs oversees the artifacts and exhibits of the Graham-Arlee museum. She has no idea that the mummy exhibit that’s drawing huge crowds, is the same Demen that her ancestor, Mira, bravely faced centuries ago.

Demen is no longer a powerful Pharaoh. Now, he’s nothing more than a museum exhibit since he was discovered in the Valley of the Kings. But a rare occurrence will give him life once more. And his desire to kill the misery known as woman is as strong as ever.

Enter Q, a second bounty-hunter sent from Aut to capture him. Like Mira, Tina has been cast into the role of ally to this handsome visitor. Amid the destruction Demen is causing, and the risk to their lives to stop him, Tina comes to terms with the depth of her love for a man from a distant planet.

But, will she leave her family on Earth for the sake of that love?

message 46: by I.J. (new)

I.J. Miller | 17 comments My new novel--literary fiction with a thriller element--has just been released.

Here is an overview of the story:

Two moms, Maddie and Al, wake up one cold morning in March in a run-down motel in Weehawken, NJ thinking they have finally found safety after a cross-country escape from their baby’s manipulative biological father. But they soon discover that the state’s top hostage negotiator--and his personal four-man SWAT team--surround their room.

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION takes you to the inner core of two unique women desperate to keep their baby at all costs and provide him with the secure, protected, happy childhood neither of them had. This well-crafted story takes you from the drama of the present, to the tragic scarring of childhood past, to the joyful connection the two make as adults, then back to the present and its emotional closure to this passionate journey of two partners seeking a peaceful life together as a family.

Maddie and Al show us how important it is to protect our children at all costs and how valiantly they’re willing to fight to overcome the deep-rooted effects of early abuse.

I have free copies available for potential reviewers in Mobi, E-Pub, and PDF formats.

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION by I.J. Miller

I look forward to hearing from you.

So, why are there government trackers hunting down seventeen-year old average high school student Laney Carter in this parallel universe? She's totally not a genius, but maybe she'll figure it out in time. Before all the worlds end. Or before they manage to delete her from existence."
