Great sequel! Not quite as much punch as book 1, but definitely still a page turner.

I very rarely buy books. I mean, I LOVE books and reading, but the library is right there everyday and I usually end up with an overwhelming TBR pile anyway. BUT I purchased The Red Scrolls of Magic the day it came out because:

1) I was sick and needed a little something fun without having to leave the house (the joys of a Kindle!).
