Before I give a synopsis of this book, I would like to tell you why it is beyond the average reading material. I never conform to societies current literary standards. My short stories are subtle, controversial, but it handles issues in a light that rarely given to issues of importance. Most of all, I attempt to connect the reader to the material in the most substantial manner possible. Yes, it is dark writing, but there are both joyful writings and darker ones. I believe they both have immense beauty. What you take from the content is what truly matters.
About the Book:
A man who struggles in life because he is successful. An odd thing you might believe but when he looks in the mirror, he sees failure. He had the world at his fingertips. Financially successful, a boyfriend that adored him, but despite all the good— all he saw was bad. As the short story progresses, you will see he developed bad habits as he reaches fame with his writing career. As he becomes a recluse, he loses all hope for a normal life, and things continue to spiral downhill. The funny thing about a mirror is it shows the exact reflection of an individual. Oddly enough, the mind has ways of distorting the image into something it is not. This is a very dark twisted book, but I guarantee you will love it. It is creative nonfiction.
