The Help
question
Skeeter & Stuart

When reading "The Help", you've seen many ups and downs with Skeeter & Stuart, our "favorite" couple.. When things seem to fall apart, it seems to be the same problems over and over again whether it be about political or social views.
When reading through chapter 28, Stuart ends up proposing to Skeeter. She ends up telling him the about the book because no secrets should be held back. Why do you think she's kept quite a secret for a while? And why do you think Stuart reacts the way he does? Do you think love can be defined over racial issues or political commitment (that Stuart has)? Does the time period then effect how those should love each other due to different views?
Let me know your thoughts!!! Lastly, do you even see them as endgame?!
