My book was placed in the profile of another author with the same name, How can I get it on profile. The Book is "You Must Remember This..." The author is John Harwood, the first book.

It will merge your user profile with the author profile. I added the Kindle edition and the cover for the book from Amazon.

Hi, I attempted to create my author account on Tuesday by clicking on the "this is me" link for my book. To this point, I have not had my author status approved as far as I can tell. Instead, when I click on the author for it, it takes me a list of other books by some other Rick Hall. My book is:https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...

None of the other books by Rick Hall are mine. I don't know if I clicked in the wrong place or something, but I was under the assumption that by this time my Author Account should have been approved. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
#926Until you are approved you do not have an author profile; the one you see is generic or "default."
If you listed which books are yours then they will assign you to a profile with just your book. If you claimed the profile without listing which one does or doesn't belong to you, then we can move it once you have a profile.

Also, can you please help change the "," comma to a "." on the middle initial on the profile? It says librarian status is needed to do so.

#948 It is what we call a "one-click buy," (Amazon selling multiple books under one ASIN) so I am marking it as "not a book" instead of just moving it. It may take a little while to disappear from your page.

Emily - The minor name issue was corrected, and missing books were added to my author profile.
However, the books I asked to have removed from my profile are still there.
Any further advice?

If you told Support which books were and were not yours, then it may have been overlooked by mistake. I moved the ones you listed here. You may want to double check because there is another psychology book.

In addition, I checked the author's name on those books and it took me to my own profile. So I don't know how they got mixed up since I didn't add that book.
