or we could do something more suspense oriented? we could do a curse that's killing prominent families or random supernaturals and no one knows why
or we could do the curse as like... if u expose yourself as supernatural to humans, you die LMFAO or something idk. im just trying to think of something with stakes.

I think I remember people randomly changing into supernatural at random, like when they change and into what. And I think they couldn’t leave too.

Hmmmm I think adding something would be pretty cool. Maybe we could do if you tell someone, they become cursed too?


Or maybe a if they kiss someone the curses spreads? Maybe that can apply to the persons first kiss?

Maybe once a month people can pick who would change, so people turn on each other so they can protect their family? Or could be the curse people that pick each month because it’s the only way they survive, they have to pick someone that changes

i think my favorite two are the if you tell someone and if you kiss someone. maybe a combo of those two? although, i do really like the idea of having to pick someone that changes. maybe it could be like a once a year thing if we go down that route. like everyone picks one once a month.

sorry this isn't very definite. do you have a favorite of those?

also, should we think of a way to break the curse? honestly, it'd be cool if there were rumors of ways to do it. but maybe we don't specify one exactly yk? people can add their own lore. like maybe it varies by family.

Oh okay how about this. So in order for it to spread, it’s not simply just telling them, like you can tell them, but it gets activated when they kiss them, like a two step process to ensure it doesn’t spread much.

So for example, you can tell anyone, but can’t kiss them. Or you can kiss anyone, but you can’t tell them. (Or maybe you can, but you can’t kiss them anymore once they find out)

So that could be one way the curse spreads, but that’s the lesser/avoided way.

The main way would be the cursed people picking once a month. This one may be harder to implement, because how do we pick and carry this out?

Also, I like the idea of a cure, but that would need more thought like you said.

and then, yes, the once a month thing. mmmmm, ig we could just leave it up to members. like put it in the plot and have everyone understand that supernatural characters should be thinking about it, but that it's kinda... yeah. it might also be kinda difficult, because if we're realistic, wouldn't everyone be supernatural now, with the amount of supernatural characters in the town? ig more non-supernatural people would move there, but... from a logistic standpoint.

for convenience's sake, it might be easier just to do the kiss thing? not sure.
