Irene (raenne) | 4856 comments Okay, so I have a tbr pile of 47 books that I need to read before the end of this year. And that's not counting the series I'm buddy reading! That is a lot for me!
I've read 90 books so far, so technically, I'd should be doable, it's just...well, a lot lol.

I was wondering, how do you organize your reading time? It's easy to get a lot of reading done when you're off from school/work or whatever, but when life kicks in and you have to go to school again, how do you manage to get your reading done? :) I'm just curious.

I try to read whenever I'm waiting, whether I'm waiting for the bus, at the doctor's office etc. I also read during breaks at uni. Sometimes I even read while I cook!

Rachael (classycupcakezz) | 5933 comments I have a very busy life considering I work 50+ hours a week and have a house to maintain.. The only thing that helps me get through books fast is AUDIOBOOKS. I know a lot of people don't like to listen to audiobooks because it takes away some of the imagination and can be hard to concentrate but I have really started to enjoy it..

I can pretty much listen to an audiobook any time and then when I have free time I find my place in the real book and read as much as I can. That way I have my own imagination at work at the audiobook reader's..

CourtLovesBooks I agree with whole audiobook things. I love them! It means I can listen to the book I'm reading while doing other things, so useful. Audible is really good for that and it lets you preview the book so you can figure out if you'd like the narrator or not. Also I always have a book on me so that helps.

Irene (raenne) | 4856 comments Audiobooks don't work for me. I have to sit still and do nothing, otherwise I lose track of everything. I can't even clean or draw while listening to them. I can barely go for a walk! It's weird, because sometimes my boyfriend reads to me and I can easily follow the story, but audio? No. Haha :D

Rachael (classycupcakezz) | 5933 comments That's interesting! Some people's brains just work different!

As far as organizing, the best thing I can do for myself is schedule it out.. Write it down with exact start dates for each book. That way you're more likely to try and keep on schedule with your reading so you can get everything accomplished that you need to.

Mei (meijey) | 3810 comments I monitor my reading schedule jist like Rachael's. I have post-it notes as an app on my phone and include the exact start date for it. As much as possible, if there's school, I should only take 3 days for each book with max 400 pages. I also plan on how many chapters I should read so I could meet my goal of a finish date. :)

I haven't tried audiobooks, yet, but it feels weird or it may take some getting used to. Where can I find ones, though? Are there some free ones? I would appreciate it!

Paulina | 17 comments Yeah I can't read or better said hear audiobooks, I couldn't tried it and couldn't get through it, so that is kinda a disadvantage be cause can't like read/hear the book everywhere you go.
So for me, I alms it mercer schedule my reading, but normally it's at night when I do most reading and also I always try to have two copies of the book I'm reading, one physical and another on ebook that way I can read wherever I go but without having the actual book to bother me around, and I get the most reading as possible

Tati When I was at college, I still read quite a bit. Because I rode the bus to get there and go back home, I'd read on the bus, as I don't get nauseous doing that.

I also read for 20-30 minutes before sleeping, so that also helps.
