Friends . . . I used to read a book every day or two. Yes, I've been busy, but I have slowed down a lot more because my neck and my arm hurt. No commiseration, please.

I ask because I wonder if anyone has an idea of how I can project my kindle contents on the ceiling or the wall, depending whether I am sitting or lying down.

(I have tried to get my ipad to talk to the TV, but it won't despite several rounds of software and what is supposed to be a smart TV, but that is another issue for another day)

So any ideas of projectors from any of you technophiles? Little tiny ones that can sit on the bedside table, perhaps? Or will a Kindle even be able to hook up to something like that? I have shopped for some at amazon and have also asked questions there, but no help was forthcoming. (people have answered questions saying they THINK an item should do that . . . not really helpful) I'd buy a Kindle that would do this, but I cannot find one.

Projectors are tricky, so I'd suggest another way: holder for kindle/tablet, like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...

there are also desktop mounted versions

The projectors are not cheap - $150+, they are noisy (coolers to prevent overheating) and I'm not sure that reading from a few meters is perfect for the eyes

Here's hoping that Oculus Rift will be able to solve the screen resolution and terrible text quality.
With a nice app it could be a whole other experience, reading in VR.

yes, but I looked at a picture of it, and I don't think the Oculus Rift is going to work too well for me when I'm reading in bed :-)
