I am thinking about working up a year-long reading challenge that would focus on the Regency time period, but I want to find out if there would be enough interest in one.

Wikipedia says that "the term Regency can refer to various stretches of time... The period from 1795 to 1837... is sometimes regarded as the Regency era..." We'll go with those years for this hypothetical challenge.

The challenge would be for all genres as long as they are set in the Regency time period for at least 50% of the story. I imagine romances would dominate the genre list, but there are also mysteries, alternative histories, time travel, and non-fiction.

Please post a comment if you would participate in a Regency reading challenge.

Nell I enjoy reading books set during this period. Most are romances and some are mysteries.
