Emily Goto | 1 comments I saw it in the gift shop of the Musée de l’Orangerie in Paris. It features a monkey in a cute little hat and diaper telling an alligator (I think) that he is using a book wrong as the alligator attempts to put the book to several different uses (laptop to send emails, a hat, etc.) . I know that this seems like a sillier request, but I made the mistake of not buying it and desperately want to find it for my little niece.

Nadine | 23 comments Your summary sounded so familiar. Then I found the book I was thinking of, and it's not exactly the same.

It was translated in french recently, it's not a french book, and it is a donkey, not an alligator.
There a version for younger kids too, where they wear diapers:

It's called "C'est un petit livre" in french

Something by Tomi Ungerer? He's French and writes children's books and animals appear in a lot of them.

Thank you, Rosa. Sometimes we get lucky and bumping old posts gets something solved.
