I'm currently listening to this book, and I will be so sorry for it to end. “This book is a stunner. Devastating, demanding and deeply moving, Bridge of Clay unspools like a kind of magic act in reverse, with feats of narrative legerdemain concealed by misdirection that all make sense only when the elements of the trick are finally laid out.” —Wall Street Journal
I found the book required extra effort to keep track of characters and time line especially in the beginning. The Dunbar boys, their parents were twisted in amazing dysfunctional behavior full of surprises involving deep emotions. I felt sad for these boys and their stories of survival. Good read!
