September is National Yoga Month and I spend lots of time on my mat
Read 2 books, each from a different option.
a) Dhyani - Meditation allows the mind to quiet and be fully in the present moment. The concept is simple but it takes time, patience and practice.
Read a non-fiction book with the genre spirituality, religion or self-help on its main book page
b) Pranayama- The conscious use of the breath reduces stress and tension and engages the body and mind. Read a book with the word breath or a form of the word (breathe, breathing, breathless, etc.) that preserves its meaning in the title or subtitle
c)Asana- The physical postures develop the strength and stamina for meditation; align the body; encourage flexibility and vitality; and cultivate balance physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Many poses are named for animals. Read a book with one (or more) of these animals on the cover: cobra (any snake), dog, cat, cow, camel, lion, rabbit
REQUIRED: Include the cover in your post.
d) Teachers - Like in all areas of life, a knowledgeable and professional teacher provides a safe encouraging environment where students can realize their potential. And yoga classes are fun! Read a book (fiction or non-fiction) about a teacher or teaching. The teacher must be a main character.
REQUIRED: If it is not clear from the GR description, explain how your book fits the task.
