10.6. Don't Forget Antarctica
Read a book by an author whose initials can be found in ANTARCTICA. Letters can be used only as many times as they are found in ANTARCTICA.

Can I verified The Witching Hour by Anne Rice? I've read it before, but it's been a long time, and it was my favourite of her books.

sure, but you don't really need to verify this, unless you think she's going to be changing her name.

Cheri (jovali2) I want to be sure I understand this part: "Letters can be used only as many times as they are found in ANTARCTICA. " So letters may be used that are NOT in ANTARCTICA, but if they are in ANTARCTICA, they may not be used more than the number of times they appear? I must misunderstand, because Anne Rice (mentioned above) has two Ns. Do you mean you couldn't have someone whose INITIALS used two Ns or two Is? So an author named Nathan Norwood wouldn't work? Thanks for any clarification you can give!

The task states that the initials of the author must be found in ANTARTICA, not every letter in the author's name. So, you're correct that an author with the initials NN wouldn't work, but Anne Rice (initials AR) works just fine.

Thanks, Sandy!

no, the author's initials are MS and neither letter is found in ANTARCTICA.

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 268 comments Would Cardeno C. work since last(?) name is only initial?
And what about A.M. Arthur?

C.C. works. AMA doesn't, since there's no "M" in ANTARTICA.

Robin (Saturndoo) (robinsaturndoo) Can we use books by authors who only go by one name? Such as Safe Harbor by Radclyffe

Safe Harbor (Provincetown Tales, #1) by Radclyffe

yes, the task didn't state that the person had to have 2 or more initials - you're okay with this one.
