She groaned,"It means a fake! A poser! And don't ask me what that means! You have succeeded in possible ruining my life from the moment I met you. Now I'm going to sleep!" She stalked off to her room again and got comfortable on her bed before slowly falling asleep.

He was confused but he left. He had pearls and jewls of course, all selkies did, the gold in sea was theirs. He went back and got some of his and then bought some clothes. Since he had no idea what type of clothes to buy he just got the first things he saw. A few male tees and then some shirts and dresses. He came back to her apartment and left the bags at her bedroom door. When he had left he hadn't locked the door because he also didn't understand how or why you locked doors
Lena slept all day before waking up the next morning. She basically forgot what had happened before she spotted him. Her eyebrows furrowed before remembering everything. God this was such a pain in the ass. She saw the bags at her door and ruffled through them, surprised to see clothes for herself. She looked over at him again, maybe he wasn't a rapist or anything but he was still irritating..Just maybe not as bad as she had thought.
The apartment was spotless because he had nothing better to do and the mop had seemed like a toy. He slept on the couch sucking his thumb, still wearing only the swim trunks
She had just put the stuff away when she saw him still sleeping on the couch. "You big baby,"She muttered, covering him with a blanket before going to go make food.
He slept for another twenty minutes before waking up
She was eating at the table, listening to the radio as she did. She normally ate like that in the morning and had takeout later
"Hey,"She answered watching him. "Foods on the counter. Don't get into trouble. I have school and then work,"She told him as she got up and grabbed her keys.
"You don't know much about humans do you?" She asked as she got up, "Try to look for this other skin while I'm gone and do not touch anything,"She ordered as she grabbed her bag and car keys:
"How do I look without touching?"he question ended
She rolled her eyes,"Fine but don't break anything and don't do anything weird in here."
"What is considered weird?"he questioned again
"If you think it'll do any damage then don't it. If you have to think twice about it then no?"Sje told him as she rolled her eyes andeft. "And look for the skin!" She called as she locked the front door behind her
He sighed and did as told. Doubt the dishes then starting to search
Lena returned a couple of hours later, exhausted from school and work.
"hey,"She sighed, goin to lay on the couch. She was exhausted and needed rest
"I'm fine, just tired,"She answered,"Did you find the skin?"
She sighed,"Whatever... Did you even try to look for it?"
He nodded,"it's wrong to disobey or lie"
She didn't have the energy to roll her eyes,"Did you eat too? I can't have you dying in here."
"i can not reach it"He explained guestuering to the can on the counter. he had tried to open it but his hands just couldnt
"Did you try using the can opener?" She asked, sighing as she got up. He was like a child, she couldn't be angry.
She just shook her head,"Just sit down and I'll make dinner. Anyways why don't you tell me about yourself if your going to live with me,"
"What would you like up know? You look tired"
"Tell me about your life under the sea,"She told him, shrugging off his other comment.
"How about you sit down and tell me what to do and i'll talk about my family and past as I do what you say?"he replied. It was clear she needed a break

"Fine,"She handed him the can and the can opener, instructing him on how to prepare he broth and other components as she sat down at the table.
"Fine. So tell me about yourself,"She told him, steering te conversation towards him
"Anything,"She offered, she only knew his name after all,
"I'm not very normal"he warned(SRRY gr is stupid)
"Obviously. Just tell me already,"she hurried him up.(It's okar)
"Well I am a selchie. We are descendants of seals"he explained,"my family lived deep in the Atlantic, we ruled over a large population, kept them safe. It's easy for our kind to reproduce but some of us are called out of the water by human. It is generally because we are very faithful companions and our pelts call out to men and women who are unhappy with there lives. I had two sisters and three brothers and a mother that loved us very much. I've never left the water but I've travelled all seven seas. Made friends with all sorts of animals, some your people haven't even discovered yet.
"I hope you know that I'm not unsatisfied with my life. But if you ruled a big part then why where you at the beach with your skin out?" She asked
"Our skins are our tails"he tried to explain and made sure not to mention her,"as long as we have them close by we can't leave the water, but I get curious time and time again what it's like out of the water. The beach is the closest thing I got to, we can put down our skins so we can give illusion of legs, that way no one gets scared"
She nodded, taking in the new news of his tail. "So are you royalty? Or nobility? Aren't you going to miss your family?" She asked, cocking her head as she finished giving him instructions on how to finish cooking.
He did as she instructed and shrugged,"I don't believe in royalty, and I do. I miss them and I miss the water, but I can't go back without my skin"he explained
Her eyes softened at that, she knew how it was to be without your family. "I'm sorry, I honestly didn't mean to take your skin. Hopefully you'll be able to find it soon."
she just stayed quiet,"Well if it's any comfort you shouldn't take too long to find it. It has to be in here somewhere."
