I was just coming here to rec it as a cli-fi book - I definitely think it fits the prompt.

The Overstory by Richard Powers: "Nine Americans whose unique life experiences with trees bring them together to address the destruction of forests."

FYI, it also fits the celebrity rec prompt (thanks to Keanu Reeves).

I have requested this from my library. I will use it for two prompts #15 and # 41. I do not have a problem using one book for more than one prompt or else I will not complete the task.
