He it think about religion and how is going to accept one One event that shapes pi view on religion is when a tiger jumps in a boat with pi and when tiger was about to attack pi stares at him and tiger looks away in defeat then he starts getting less scared about the tiger the more he spent in the boat.I think it is a good because he dosent look like he is overwhelmed and so he wont be seen badly by other people.I think there is a connection between religion and zoo since the novel depicts zoos as Miracles and truth pi says that examining animals is like a religions experience,pi remembers groing up in zoo like a paradise on earth since he like the animals sound and intractions
