You've given some good details. It sounds very interesting.
You can "bump" your thread every month or so. This pushes your thread back to the top of the folder instead of languishing here on page 43 where fewer eyes will see it.

In this book programmers created computer programs/hacked using special gloves which allowed them to interact with yellow lines of light around the room. When they moved their hands around the light, they would move it to create arrangements (their computer programs). They used a very specific name for the type of people who did this for a living (not a programmer). The main character did this for a living (male), but I also recall that there were perspective changes whereby it would be in the point of view of a woman.
I remember this because at one point the woman entered a VR world to have VR sex with someone whereby she would mold the face of someone (I think her boss, or might have been main male character) onto the person she was having VR sex with. The VR sex allowed anyone to fulfill any fantasy they wanted with whatever 'body' or location they would chose.
I also recall this book being a series and I think I read the first two.
Book is likely to be written by male author.
The first book of the series would not have been written in the last 2-3 years, and I assume would have been written after 2010.
