At the start of the book male #1 tried to kill himself. He left a note and his best friend found the note and thought that males #1 girl friend was cheating on him. So male #2 abducts her away to his private island, until the friend wakes from his coma. She keeps claiming her innocence but he doesn’t believe her. Eventually they fall in love, but MALE #2 won’t act on it because he believes she belongs to his sick friend. When they are called to the hospital MALE#1 admits that he is in love with another man and was afraid how his friend would take it. She runs out of the hospital with MALE#2 chacing her. I thought the author was Elizabeth Lennox or Clare Connolly ,but I can’t find the book amongst there work.
