Also Ty & Kit's story felt unresolved and I think there could be another series of Ty at the Scholomance. He is such an interesting character and him growing up and finding himself could be SUCH an interesting read.

I loved it! I loved how open and acceptation the characters are in this story. 5 stars from me! (hide spoiler)]

If I am understanding it correctly this is the end of TDA, but the stroy picks up in another series.

Chapter 2
(view spoiler)[ That was an emotional start to the book. Ty appears to be handling the situation well. I want to hear more from him though to see how he’s really doing. I’m only just noticing how much the authors writing has improved over these books. In the first tmi books I felt no emotion for any characters but the grief of all these characters has been portrayed well. (hide spoiler)]

You're right. The writing has improved a great deal. I'm always saying TID characters are my favorites, but now I'm not so sure.
I feel bad for Kit. He must feel so alone rn. And he's hesitating to express his own grief around Ty. There's really no one around to talk to him or comfort him.

I don't think i like how Julian got Magnus to turn off his emotions. Though ig it should make things interesting once the plot moves forward.

Did you notice how the author casually keeps mentioning these little things here and there we may or may not get the full story of by the end of the book? Like Mark meeting Simon in a faerie cage (i don't remember this happening in any book) or people glancing at Kit as if he was familiar. (hide spoiler)]

I can see why Julian did it for everybody’s safety but I hope it’s only temporary. This is the main part of the storyline that I’m hoping is concluded by the end. It’d be really sad if they just had to stay apart or keep their emotions off forever. (hide spoiler)]

Ty's plan explains his reaction to Livvy's death. I doubt it'll work tho. It'd too convenient and unrealistic if it did.
I think it will be more about Ty coming to terms with it by the end.

I really hope Julian doesn't stay under Magnus' spell for long. It's not much fun to read about him like this. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Maybe? He said that Magnus tried his best to only take away his feeling about Emma. But so far, it's implied that he's not feeling anything.
He killed Dane, and we can't really be sure if that was because of the anger at the comment he made about Livvy, or if it just seemed logical to his non-emotional self to do so.

When we found out that he has another plan, I was expecting it to be some big, mind-blowing twist, or just something more well thought-out and genius. Just a bit disappointed when it was revealed.
Maybe there'll more to it ahead.

Also, what happened to Emma's promise to Jem about keeping an eye on Kit? She was told his life may be in danger, but she didn't even inform Cristina or Mark about it before leaving... (hide spoiler)]
