Hello, I have a new pen name and I tried to create an author account but the system is asking for a book link. I don't have a link yet because the book hasn't been published but I need a Goodreads profile so I can add readers to TBR. Please help.

An author account cannot be created without a book.If you have info about the book a book record can be added. It needs to be fairly complete if you want to claim the author profile.
I have the book cover but I don't have an Amazon link yet

Yes I do. November 20th. I will create the profile now.

No, that is a regular user account. Instead, you should add the book to the database with the information available, and then you can claim the author account.Alternatively, you can provide the information here and a librarian can add the book for you.

When you added the book it automatically created an author profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
If you want to claim the author profile, click on the 'Is this you? Let us know' link near the bottom of the page, using the same login and email address you used to create the Zoe Blaze user profile. Upon approval, that profile will be merged into the author profile.
