I did feel that they had no respect for the items or the curator. Some of it may have been ignorance of the importance of the artifacts, but Robinson should not have been dismissed like he was.
I agree, Melissa! I was disappointed at their behavior. They should have known better and Jane should have taken precautions.
I agree with both of you. There should have been care given but then I've heard on many occasions when it comes to searching residents or business for evidence or whatnot the police tend to ransack. People's things should be respected but there is a definite mindset on if you're searching someone's things they are probably criminals. Criminals, in many minds, don't deserve respect. A museum should have been respected even more than the maybe a citizen's home but Jane, especially, was thinking the museum and it's employees were murder suspects and treated them as such.
