Glad you liked it Trisha. I had a harder time getting into this than the first book, but I can't wait for the next book.

Teacup (view spoiler)[Oh man, I wasn't attached to her or anything but she made Ringer seem marginally human. I am not totally surprised (given the direction the scene was going) that She was killed but for Razor to kill her! (hide spoiler)]

I keep trying to imagine "end of times" kind of scenarios and I keep thinking that "love" in the sense of what it would be in these times would be more intense and happen quicker
just because you never know when you could be killed or they killed.

But yes, I agree. the romance/love interest/attachment happens pretty quickly with not a ton of development in this series (hide spoiler)]
