My thoughts so far on the first 1/3 of the book (no spoilers):

- I'm really into it!
- I find it mind-blowing sometimes that this is non-fiction. Parts of it seem so crazy and out of an action movie that they couldn't be real. I suppose my life is much different so its hard to understand sometimes.
- I spent a month in Costa Rica and I remember myself and some other students hearing there was a fer-de-lance nearby and going out in the dark to try and find one. Luckily we didn't because that was a terrible idea!
